Our personally owned and maintained 1 bedroom (perfect size for a couple or family with 2 small children) ,1 bath, galley kitchen, unit of Bridgewater is an oceanfront condo building located within the 24- hour security patrolled gated community of Litchfield by the Sea. Since we are personally owned and operated, we email you all your check in information ahead of time, so you just have to park the car, open the door, and unpack. No waiting in LONG lines at the reception office!! We are not managed by Litchfield By The Sea, so we have our own personal cleaning company come in and do a impeccable top to bottom cleaning. The unit sleeps 4 max and is located on the 2nd floor with easy access from 3 elevators. Our condo has 2 queen size Tempur-Pedic mattresses, wooden laminate flooring, and flat screen HD TVs in living room and bedroom. The onsite laundry room for the Bridgewater building is conveniently located on the same floor, about 5 doors away. An all season indoor swimming pool is located inside on the first level with a hot tub as well. There are miles of biking. Rentals are available at the Reception building of Litchfield, and paths lead all the way to Murrells Inlet. Walking paths, lakeside fishing, and close proximity to many golf courses are all at your fingertips. You have your own private access to the beach from the oceanfront Bridgewater building. Beach chaise lounge chairs/umbrella are avail for rental and will be set up for you at the beach with your name on them. Our condo has a fabulous ocean view, overlooking the oceanfront pool, hot tub and lazy river. You have a wide open view of the Atlantic Ocean. If you need more entertainment, you are 20 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, or 15 minutes north of historic Georgetown. You are 5 minutes away from the "Seafood Capital of SC", Murrell's Inlet. Litchfield Beach is very family oriented. Huntington State Park and Brookgreen Gardens are within a 3 minute drive. You are surrounded by several top-rated golf courses.
Effective 1/1/24, Litchfield Beach and Golf charges $15 per night resort fee for all renters. Unfortunately, we have to pass this fee onto our renters.
Frequently asked questions: Are beach towels / linens provided? Yes- No need to bring your own. Is there WIFI? Yes- we have a private/secure WiFI in our unit .I have a dog that does not shed and is well trained/behaved, can we bring it?-ABSOLUTLEY NO dogs or animals of any kind are allowed. Please do not contact us to re-consider. THIS IS A STRICT POLICY!How do I have my mail forwarded to me?-There are no mailboxes or lobby desk to collect mail or deliveries. You must get a PO Box at the local Post Office. -What style coffee pot is in the unit?A drip pot. (Usually plenty of filters in the cabinet) What is the minimum age limit to rent?- You must be 25 or older to rent this unit. Do we need to stop at the front desk to check in? - No, you may proceed directly to the unit. All your check in information will be emailed to you 2 weeks prior to your arrival with information and codes on how to enter. Are golf carts allowed at the unit? -Bridgewater does not having any charging stations for electric golf carts. Gas golf carts are not allowed. Are motorcycles permitted in the gated community? -NO motorcycles are allowed inside Litchfield By The Sea community. We have a concern, do we go to the front desk? -Since we are private owners of this property, please do not go to front desk with concerns, they can not assist you. You may call us directly so that we may help with emergeny or important concerns. Is unit supplied with essential kitchen suppplies? -Salt, pepper, sugar, plates, cups, silverware, pots and pans are all supplied. 1 paper towel roll, and 2 rolls of toilet paper are supplied for your arrival. There is a Food Lion grocery store across rte 17 for any of your other needs/ supplies. Can I call housekeeping for more towels or toiletries? -Since we manage the property ourselves, we have private cleaners come before your arrival. They do not do daily housekeeping or deliver more toiletries. We own all our linens and towels, so please do not exchange your linens with housekeeping you may see in the hallways. Are there mattress covers on all the beds?-Yes all beds have mattress and pillow covers.
