Wingaerchic: Woodsy retreat in West Gloucester

This very private contemporary house is perched on a shady hilltop near Gloucester's sandy Wingaersheek Beach. It's spacious and open plan living/dining room/kitchen is filled with natural light and boasts vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and large oversized windows. The dining area has an oversized table with plenty of seat. Sliding doors in the living area open open onto a wrap around deck. The eat-in kitchen with breakfast bar has a door to a side deck and yard.

Also on this level is the master bedroom with ensuite bath and walk-in closet, two additional bedrooms and one full bath with tub and shower. The ground floor entrance level features a den and game room with ping pong table, pull out sofa and wide screen TV as well as a half bath and entrance to the oversized garage.

The property has deeded rights to the private section of Coffin's Beach as well as easy access to the public Wingaersheek Beach. Access is available to Association tennis courts.

Great location but that’s it

Great location to the beach. However, we requested an early check-in and received three different answers over the span of two days (approved early check-in, disapproved early check-in, and approved early check-in with $75 fee). Communication was very poor with the rental agency. The beds felt like hotel cots with very cheap linens. There was an infestation of spiders in the master bedroom and bathroom.
