Heading north three miles will get you to Bonita Beach or Barefoot Beach and three miles to the south will have you at Delnor Wiggins State Park or Vanderbilt Beach. There you can choose other activities like kayaking, jet-skiing and para-sailing. One mile south of the back gate is the public Cocohatchee River Marina for boat lovers. Lover’s Key State Park and the south end of Fort Myers beach are about a fifteen minute car drive north.

For grocery shopping, head out the back gate just minutes to the north to a new Publix grocery store or go 10 minutes south for Walmart. Other nearby grocery stores include Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Trader Joe’s. There are many great restaurants along Bonita Beach Road or out the front gate along US 41. Nightlife abounds at nearby shopping venues like the Mercato, Coconut Point or Olde Naples. Consider a summer beach vacation, lounging in the warm gulf waters.
