The cabin was exactly as pictured, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Great local boat ramp and good dock for our 17.5 foot fishing boat. Excellent crappie fishing the week we were here.
We stayed here for 1 week during the summer. Our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The cottage was well kept and clean on arrival. The water access was great for swimming for the whole family. Janeane was very polite and quick to respond to messages and calls. So happy we chose to have our summer getaway here and hope to come back
Stayed here on Memorial Day Weekend with my two sons. Up to do a little fishing. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host checked in on us and had great communication through the whole process. Would love to come back again!
Our time up north was amazing. The cabin was great and loved eating on the porch every night as a family. Loved having a grill or fire option and the kids loved jumping into the water. The sand and beach was amazing too
Small cozy cute clean cottage. We loved the area but forgot how intimidating during night, the dark winding curvy roads could be. But that is also the charm of UpNorth. The host was very responsive and helpful.
Great place to stay, and owner is very friendly. Clean amd comfortable. We love to fish, Dam lake did not disappoint. Plenty of panfish for the family as well as great smallmouth bass fishing. Some fisherman were catching. Few walleye as well. Would definitely go back.
We had a lovely vacation at this little cabin. Our kids are 6,3,10 months. They enjoyed the small beach, fishing off the small John boat, and going down to the dam down the road to hunt for bullfrogs and crawfish! Jennean so sweet, she was quick to get the kids chocolate chips for our pancakes when she found out we forgot them!
We had a wonderful stay at the Pinewood on Pike Bay. The cabin is small and simple, but has 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen which was all we needed for an amazing stay on the lake with 2 adults, 2 kids, and our dog. The lot has a gentle slope to the lake, plenty of shade, a nice fire pit, and is situated in a quiet bay on Dam Lake. The place was clean and tidy, and Jenneane was accessible and responsive the handful of times we had questions or needed something. We'll definitely be back!
Rented this cabin for a fall fishing trip. Nice view of the lake and nice dock for our boat. Weather was warm for mid Oct. and affected the fishing for sure. Did catch enough to have a nice fish fry. The rent process went as it should. Had a nice time with brother and cousin.
We have stayed here before and came back as we like that we can bring our dogs, and it’s right on a lake. We brought our kayaks. We will not be back for two reasons which are no fault of our sweet host, Jeanine. We are in our 70’s and found launching our kayaks on the steep hill to be a challenge. The other thing we didn’t like was having to walk and carry our belongings so far into the cabin. Again, we are not spring chickens anymore. If she could provide a wagon or something that we could load our belongings on, that would be wonderful. Request a deposit to use it so no one rips it off.
