An immaculate and very comfortable apartment that accommodated our family of 5 easily. Despite the heat dome at the time, the air conditioning cooled the rooms quickly and quietly. We appreciated the hotel-style room master switch that ensured the AC and lights were off when we took the key out of its holder by the door. The owner has installed a reserve water tank to ensure there is always good water pressure, and the water is heated by solar panels so hot water is plentiful. There is a new and efficient washing machine on an adjacent balcony, and a large table and chairs on another balcony where it's pleasant to sit out in the morning and cool evenings. There is a good cafe/bar below with pool table, foosball, chess, and other games. The staff are very nice and helpful there, and we never heard patrons in the apartment. It was always very quiet and easy to sleep. The location is ideal: walking distance to a nice grocery store as well as the port with many restaurants and shops and a beach. Other beaches are a short drive away. Beach umbrellas, beach mats, and beach towels are provided. The host is very responsive and helpful: we are thrilled to have been able to stay here and will definitely return on future trips to Sami!

Wunderschöne, toll eingerichtete Wohnung in schönem Hafenstädtchen

Wir können nur Gutes sagen... Wir sind als Familie nach Kefalonia gereist und wurden sehr nett von den Gastgebern persönlich begrüßt. Uns wurde die komplette Wohnung gezeigt, und im Kühlschrank standen sogar Wasser, Wein und Obst für uns bereit. Die Wohnung selber liegt an der Hauptstrasse der Hafenstadt Sami. Der Bäcker, zwei Minimärkte und der Hafen mit vielen, schönen Tavernen (unser Favorit war das Restaurant "Mermaid" - gutes Essen, kleine Preise und netter Service) sind zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen. Sie ist perfekt ausgestattet - Klimaanlagen in jedem Raum, bequeme Betten, Handtücher, (auch für den Strand), viel Geschirr in der Küche und sogar eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäscheständer, Sonnenschirm und Strandmatten - es wurde an alles gedacht. Highlight ist auf jeden Fall der große, überdachte Balkon mit der Markise. Hier kann man sowohl zum Frühstück als auch abends gemütlich im Schatten sitzen. Die Wohnung wurde während unseres Urlaubs 2x geputzt und es wurden Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben Fragen beantwortet und Tipps gegeben. Fazit: Tolle Wohnung bei der an alles gedacht wurde. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und möchten auf jeden Fall Wiederkommen. Danke an Fotini und ihre Eltern!
