Summer by the Sea

It's time to take a break at Horizon South a gated community in Panama City Beach. Our lovely two bedroom condo has wonderful views and is just steps to the Gulf of Mexico. Horizon South has lush landscaping, putt putt golf, shuffle board, 4 pools, hot tub and tennis courts for your vacation enjoyment. Our clean and roomy condo sleeps 6 with two bedrooms and two full baths. The kitchen offers all the little extras a family could want or need to fix a nice get together. The living room has cable TV, electric leather loveseat, and room to spread out. Of course feel free to use our washer and dryer located right in the condo. There are TVs located in every room including the patio. Call today to plan the family getaway at Horizon South Resort in Panama City Beach! No one under 25 years old can rent this condo. There is a security camera located outside of the condo in the enclosed patio.
NOTE: The resort charges a $20 per person amenities fee(armbands) that is charged to the guest separately *(subject to change). You are also responsible for acquiring a parking pass, beginning January 2023 there will be a $25.00 charge for your vehicle. You are allowed to have up to 2 vehicles per condo.

LOVED IT!!

Everything we needed was in this home. It was a great getaway with my nieces and sister. The beach is clean and not too far away. The pools were very nice. Lots to do at this place!! We had a small hiccup with the internet and TV when we checked in, but the host responded IMMEDIATELY, and the problem was diagnosed quickly. I was very happy with the quick response. 100/10 recommend!!

Great little pre-vacation.

Our pre-vacation was a great little mini vacation for us 2 before our Annual Family July 4th crew rolled in.The neighborhood was as described and having 3 pools was definitely a plus.The beach was not as close as expected but wasn't that long of a walk.The only issue was during check in but was addressed immediately.Woul definitely visit again..

Nice Condo

This is our second time staying in this unit. The owners are very easy to deal with and the unit is in great condition. It is spacious and up to date. The complex itself was not as in good of condition as expected this time we visited. There was major work being completed at the front of the complex that made the front entrance not accessible. This made travel less convenient. I would stay here again once front entrance work was complete.

Great spot!

The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars all on everything is because when we arrived the condo hadn’t been cleaned. There must have been a miscommunication with their cleaners. Thankfully we had somewhere to be just after we arrived. I notified the property manager and they had the place cleaned by the time we came back. The property is great and very close to everything! We enjoyed all of the pools, mini golf, tennis courts, etc! The beach is just a short walk through the complex property. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely choose this place again!

Terrible management company

Horrible, check in was 3pm then was changed to 4pm. After it was booked. When we arrived unit was not cleaned dirty sheets trash etc. beds not made. We had to wait until 8pm. Contact management company they would not do anything after waiting for hours to check in unit was still not cleaned very good. Zero help would not recommend. Condo was nice just dirty

Everything as expected. Close to the pools and putt putt. They have beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, noodles and beach umbrella. Just wished prior ppl would of cleaned the sand off.

Great Rental

We enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and comfortable. We love Horizon South! The property managers were easy to contact. My only complaint would be that the pans in the kitchen stick pretty bad so if you want to cook you might want to bring your own pan. It was not a major issue though. I would stay again.

Summer vacay

Exactly as described. We stay at Horizon South every summer. We love the location. This condo was one of our favorites based on its proximity to the pool. The condo was clean and stocked. We had a small issue with ants on the couch but it was resolved quickly and we didn’t have any other problems. Property manager was quick to respond to any inquiries I had before and after check in. Not crazy about the security camera, but understand the need for it. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Convenient location to the beach; suitable for 4 adults and a teenager

Check-in process was seamless and the staff were friendly. When I walked in the front door, I thought this will work. The condo was clean and well put together. I can tell that it is maintenance on a regular. The white stairs were crisp not dull and dingy. The kitchen is very small. That was unexpected and not easy to tell by the pictures. The loft upstairs was spacious enough for 2 adults and a teenager. It was nice to be able to use the beach chairs provided on the patio. Wish I would have know that was an option, I would not have brought my own (maybe I missed that in my reading of the amenities). The only thing I wish would have been attended to was the windows had dead bugs in the window seal behind the blinds in the downstairs bedroom. That threw me off considering how clean everything else was, but if that was the worst then you will have no worries.

Review of Horizon South stay

My husband and I went to the condo for Labor Day week end. Another couple went with us and stayed upstairs. The condo was nicely furnished, clean, and our bed downstairs was very comfortable. The kitchen was very small and could be a little better equipped. (There was no baking sheet or crock pot). We enjoyed the pool (which was close by), and the guys played putt putt. The condo had nice outdoor furniture. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom was off it’s track when we arrived. We did not attempt to fix it as we didn’t want to mess it up further. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay there in the future!

I never wanted to leave!

I want to tell you this place was awful to have it all to myself haha. It's soooooooo PERFECT! Location was walking distance to the beach AND delicious restaurants. For almost a whole day we didn't move the car. The residence was perfect, clean, outdoors was accommodating and the beach chairs were a plus. We didn't get a chance to use the pool and property amenities but so many in the neighborhood did and it wasn't crowded. The owner and host was the friendliest I've ever met in a rental. This is my new 2nd home. Can't wait to come back.

40 Day Vacation near the Beach

The condo was nice but needed some maintenance. We liked the location, club house, hot tub and 18 hole miniature golf course. The unit was more spacious than we needed and was well stocked with dishes, appliances and TVs. Parking was very close to the unit.
