About this property
3 *** Traditional Village House in Mediterranean Fishing Port
Fleur de Lys is a traditional 3 storey Maison Village;, sleeping up to 4 people. Located less than 5 minutes walk from the historic centre and port area of the seaside fishing village of Marseillan. Less than 5km from miles of sandy beaches. The house is on a quiet street, overlooking a pretty square. On 3 levels the house enjoys the benefit of an integral garage. As well as a washing machine, walk in shower & WC the garage is home to a games area including table tennis. There is still room for a medium sized car. On the first floor there is a spacious living area (with double sofa bed), and wood burning stove - for the winter months. There is a separate fitted kitchen/dining area with french doors leading from the kitchen directly onto a completely private south facing terrace with table & chairs, and BBQ. This means that outdoor eating couldn’t be simpler. The completely enclosed terrace is very safe for children. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms (1 double/1 twin) and a walk in shower with a separate WC. We have a local lady who manages our house for us if you need help. There is a key box so you can come and go as you want. The house has been awarded 3 stars by the local tourist agency.

Wonderful Marseillan
We, party of four, really enjoyed our weekend stay in Marseillan. The house is great, location perfect and the area is wonderful for short (and long) excursions. The bedrooms are really nice and we loved the evenings on the terrace. And the morning stroll to one of the lovely boulangeries.
We do recommend this house for a holiday in wonderful surroundings.

Exccellent holiday rental
A house that has retained its old world character whilst being modernised to a high standard. Excellent location with bakery within yards and town centre a two-minute walk. All the mod cons, and more, you could need complete with garage (for a small car), so off-road parking which is welcome in cramped streets. The house is very comfortable with modern furnishings and a pleasant, private patio with gas BBQ to enjoy lunch with a glass (or two) of rose. Beaches, walks and beautiful countryside and vilages are all close at hand. Maps, guides and previous visitors' recommendations are in the house to help first-time visitors to the area. The owners are helpful and excellent communicators who we can thoroughly recommended. We have rented many holiday properties over 39 yrs and this is up there with the best.

December in Marseillan
We had a fabulous time at this charming, spacious, clean, well-lit apartment in the heart of old Marseillan. Loved the master bed upstairs, slept so well. Walking each morning around the corner to the Boulangerie was so convenient with its delicious pastries, brioche, quiche and even pizza. The town square just a few blocks walk with its little market, super butcher, more Boulangerie, Pharmacie and restaurants. We walked to the port each day which was our favorite spot to hang out. Restaurants . . . loved Maison de Camille at the port. La Luna was pretty good. Wonderful restaurant on the square was La Table d'Emilie. Check out the great Carrefour in town for all your grocery and sundry needs. You must buy oysters, mussels and clams from the many Coquillage stands in town. Beautiful, sweet Marseillan was so lovely. We went back and visited Pezenas (antique shops called Brocantes), Perpignan (Maison Quinta, wow!), Ceret (Modern Art Museum). Walking the long, wonderful beach between Marseillan & Sete delightful. The owners called us back from Scotland when we couldn't get the TV to work. Probably 25 English channels available. We highly recommend this holiday home!!
