Fantastic property for a big family/group. Great location, loved Boulevard Coffee - it was worth the wait on busy mornings. Appreciate easy communication with Phillip and loved all the local recommendations. There was even a beautiful vase of gladiolus’ to greet us when we checked in!

Wonderful house and great location! Had a long weekend with a group of friends in LA, and this house fit everything we needed. 5 bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, large living room and kitchen. Philip was very communicative and accommodating, and even let us check in early! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The one minor aside was that some of the bedrooms on the first floor got a little warm in the middle of the night, but manageable.

Cooperative host who was very quick to respond. Home is located in a great neighborhood,quiet and safe. Beach chairs, boogy boards, beach umbrella, and surf boards were provided and much appreciated. The distance to the beach is indeed walkable, however, it is an impossible trudge to make attempting to carry the provided beach equipment. We were required to use the public beach parking to get our gear to the beach. Parking during the week is reasonable, weekends, not so much. Kitchen is well equiped and we used it daily. Bathrooms are excellent, but more bathroom and especially beach towels would be appreciated. Parking can be iffy. It would be nice if the neighbors respected the driveway opening in front of the house. The house is comfy and very livable. Would love to return.

Beautiful home, great location, ample parking. Unfortunately we were surprised to find the downstairs (where all bedrooms but the master are) did not have functioning air conditioning. Host informed me that only the upstairs had A/C. This significantly impacted our stay, but to the host’s credit he did make it right. I’d just suggest updating the listing to reflect no A/C downstairs to avoid future surprises.

Phillip, our host, was exceptional! The house for our three family holiday event was perfect - clean, spacious and short walk to the canals and the beach as well as a quick arrival and departure from LAX. You will not be disappointed with this home.

Very comfortable and great location

Exploring the area, onfoot and by car, from this location is as easy as it gets and the house is large, comfortable and tastefully decorated with everything you need for an effortless stay.

Rocky start to the trip. We had a group of 10, and though we initially had one extra person, the owner was accommodating, I appreciated that. But within an hour of arriving, while we were excited to be together and playing music at 4PM. The owner barged in less than 10 minutes later and said, "I've been in this neighborhood for 30 years and you can't play that type of music here. I'm the homeowner and you'll have to find other accommodations. This isn't a party house." No warning despite having my cell number and being responsive on VRBO beforehand. Mind you it was 4PM.The comment about "that type of music" felt like a clear microaggression, and his approach left us feeling unsafe, like he could kick us out on a whim. We had zero alcohol at the time, literally eating cookies in the kitchen, waiting for a grocery delivery. He stated no music after 9:30PM but clearly playing Bad Bunny is never allowed. The AC was also a problem, freezing upstairs, sauna downstairs. Towels were insufficient for our group size, and one had dried blood on it. We ran out of toilet paper and had to buy our own. Maybe we could have asked him for more but at that point we didn't want to cause any issues. Cleanliness was fine, the location was great with good street parking, and the layout worked well. This could've been a great review if he'd handled things professionally and fixed the AC. At 5k for one weekend, stocking enough towels and balancing the vents isn't too much to ask for.

Sorry Gayane but the property description clearly states that this is not a party house. The music was so loud that you could not hear me ringing the doorbell then pounding on the front door. After letting myself in to ask you to turn it down one of your guests became aggressive with me.

Beautiful house and great location

This house is beautiful and located in the perfect spot in Venice! It’s walking distance to canals, beach and Abbot Kinney. The amenities were great and Philip was very helpful and responsive.
