We continue to choose this property for our annual stay in Crivitz area. The view of the river is awesome. The bird feeders are always filled so we can watch their antics. The parking is adequate to have our family come visit. Fits 5 vehicles comfortably, maybe more. We call this the "Moose Lodge" due to the decorating theme and appreciate that the kitchenware can really handle a large group.
Our winter stay was very peaceful. Host stayed in excellent communication and was extremely gracious and understanding of our situation. We enjoyed upgrades to the house (new flooring, doors, and coffee maker) and look forward to returning.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, has everything we need. We love the canoes and kayaks, fire pit and privacy. The hosts are terrific - we’ve been staying here every summer for 9 years and the property is always well maintained and upgraded. We always have a great stay!
Beautiful river views with the lakehouse charm.
We noticed some updates to flooring and lighting to keep it fresh. There are tons of dishes to handle a family gathering.

Clean, comfortable, and relaxing.
This is our third year here - every year we come back, our stay is great. Rick and Annette clearly take pride in their property, we always feel welcomed.
We’ve been coming here for 7 years, and it’s always wonderful! We spend our days in the canoe, and nights by the fire. The home is clean, very comfortable, and well equipped. Perfect place to spend a quiet vacation!
Gorgeous getaway in the north woods with all the comforts of home (and a beautiful view). Morning walk let us view several deer, and even a couple of fawns. Coffee outside while looking at the river is so peaceful, and kayaking was wonderful.
We had a very nice stay The cabin was great well stocked we had some nice fires at night the fishing wasn’t the greatest but that’s why they call it fishing
This is our second year staying here. Cabin is wonderful and once again we had a fantastic time. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone who enjoys being on the water, has a love of nature, loves a campfire, and loves a clean and comfortable place to stay.
We come here every year. The property is clean and comfortable, the location is private and quiet. We love being on the river, the time on the water, and the wildlife. Many sightings of the Bald Eagle family this year! A great place to peacefully unwind.
Our family of 4 plus two dogs visited over Memorial Day weekend. The house was exceptionally clean, and well-maintained. The setting next to the river was peaceful and beautiful. We used the fire pit every night for s'mores! Rick was an excellent host, and we'd definitely stay here again next time we're in the area. Highly recommend!
We’ve been staying at this property for seven years, and it never disappoints. Always clean, well kept and well appointed. We love the canoeing, the privacy and quiet; Rick and Annette are lovely hosts. We’ll be back another year!
Having 3 bedrooms and 1 and 1/2 baths was perfect for us. The whole time was so calm and peaceful. Rick checked in on us to see if everything was okay. We wish we had , had more time there. This was our second year and we plan on going again next year.
Stayed with my 3 grown kids. Very nice and relaxing. Completed about 30% of a 1,000 piece picture puzzle, cooked out every evening and took walks around the neighborhood. Watched the full moon eclipse and its reflection off the river.
Great 3 bedroom cabin with all the amenities you need sitting in front of a slow moving river that is perfect for kayaking or canoeing (both available at the property). There is also a fire pit that is in front of the river. We could watch birds at the bird feeder with our morning coffee We also saw a doe and her fawn walk through the back yard
Went here for a fishing trip with friends. This is a nice quiet place to relax. Internet is not the greatest and the kitchen could use a few pans. Fishing was a little tough but still worth it. I would recommend this place for friends, couples and families.
Beautiful, saw a black squirrel, deer and birds. Didn’t catch any fish but I sure enjoyed learning how to cast again. Haven’t done that for many years! The owners were great. We forgot something at the cottage and they dropped it off at our front porch. How wonderful! The place had everything we needed.

Fun on the Peshtigo River!
Just enjoyed a 5 day Sister Getaway at Rick's cottage. Everyone loved the sun room, we spent hours listening to music and working on crafts. The view of the river from the house is wonderful, we were pleasantly surprised at all the different wildlife, the first day we saw loons and hooded mergansers, beautiful! The cottage was fully stocked with everything you need. We kept commenting on how well the kitchen was equipped, there's everything you'll need plus a very nice dishwasher (loved that)! We enjoyed the large living room, there's plenty of seating, we had movie night, every night! The extra half bath was also an added bonus. Rick was very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to others. Hoping to return in the fall!
