Buffalo Trace Retreat - Outstanding Mountain Views, Close to Park

Split-level home with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Spacious, well-equipped Kitchen, open floor plan with kitchen, family room, dining area and breakfast bar. Deck off family room with excellent view of Electric Peak and Sepulcher Mountain. Larger home excellent for large groups and families with children. Downstairs has one bedroom, reading/sleeping nook, full size pull-out sofa. Downstairs has one full bath and complete laundry facilities. Upstairs has two bedrooms and two baths. Upstairs family room has 55 inch flat screen, downstairs family room has 40 inch flat screen and master bedroom has 30 inch TV. Netflix and wireless internet. Desk area upstairs with mountain view for our guests that need computer time while on vacation.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Garbage should be bagged and inside the bear-resistant can outside. Load all of your dishes in the dishwasher, and start it on Quick Wash.
Remove opened items from the fridge. Leave used beds unmade. Gather the towels/mats in the laundry room. If you want, start a load of towels and run them on Hot water, using Quick Wash (6 sets max).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Comfort, Convenience and Elk!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Gardiner, Montana! The location was perfect—just a short walk to town and incredibly convenient access to Yellowstone’s north entrance. The house was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group. We even had some elk visitors out front one morning, which made the stay even more memorable. Thank you for a great experience—we’d absolutely stay here again!

Yellowstone comfort

Buffalo Trace is comfortable, well-appointed, and within minutes of the North entrance of Yellowstone. The owners were particularly helpful suggesting special spots in the park to view animals. At the end of our long days exploring the park, it was nice to cook in and relax with friends.

Amazing Yellowstone Rental

The Buffalo Trace Retreat was the perfect home for our trip to Yellowstone! The house was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located so that we could enjoy every aspect of the park! At the house, we had lots of elk and mule deer visitors, which made the trip even more special! Natalie and Kevin were the perfect hosts and made our stay absolutely perfect!!
