Whether you're traveling with family or friends, Kiahuna Ocean View is a wonderful, welcoming home where you will want to stay forever. This lovely, 3300-square foot home offers the luxury of hard wood floors, spacious rooms, walk-in closets, a large, covered lanai and a refreshing, private swimming pool.

With five bedrooms, two of which are master suites, there is plenty of space for ten guests to spread out, relax and enjoy the tropical breezes and fragrant scents of the beautiful "Garden Island." The great room is a comfortable space where everyone can be together; there are also many places in this large home where you can quietly read a book. The possibilities are endless . . . .

The chef(s) in your group will greatly appreciate the large kitchen, completely remodeled in 2019. You may want to visit one of Kauai's Sunshine or Farmer's Markets for fresh, local produce to include in your favorite recipes. You may also want to add some of Kauai's fresh fish and seafood to your tropical culinary creations.

It's amazing how Kauai can inspire greatness in us in so many ways by offering such a beautiful island for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. One great way to do that is to lounge near your private swimming pool and take a refreshing dip whenever you feel like it. No need to be on a tight schedule -- just take a deep breath and relax.

The Kiahuna Ocean view home is a non-smoking property in a residential neighborhood with homeowner association guidelines to ensure a peaceful and exclusive vacation. This also means no hosting of events, large parties or excessive noise. Please be aware that while the yard is fenced in, there is no barrier immediately surrounding the swimming pool. The pool is visible from most living areas, but could still pose a danger to very young children.

Although it may be difficult to leave this lovely home for even an hour, you may want to explore our "Garden Island." There are many beautiful sights to see in Poipu, such as Spouting Horn, a natural blowhole along Poipu's coastline. Allerton Garden, a National Tropical Botanical Garden in Poipu, is a wonderful place to see and learn about many colorful and unusual tropical plants and flowers. Waimea Canyon on Kauai's west side, the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" according to Mark Twain, is less than an hour away.

The house was perfect for our family. It had a well equipped kitchen in which we made most of our meals. They also had plenty of beach gear to enjoy our time at Poipu Beach. The location was close to shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. We would definitely rent this home again.

Everything about this house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed every moment of being here and made some great memories. The house was very clean when we arrived, kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and definitely lots of places to sit and relax. We loved being out by the pool and overlooking the golf course. It did get a bit humid while we were there, but we utilized all the fans and it definitely helped. We would definitely love to come back again! Perfect place for a family!

This house was the perfect fit for my family, loved the layout of the house, and just about everything about it. The pool made it for the kids, I would stay here every time I came to Kauai if I had the choice.

The house and grounds were perfect. Separation of sound for bedrooms was wonderful. Nice kitchen to cook. Bathrooms are beautiful and plentiful. We would stay again.

Very luxerious house with golf course View. The Kids loved the pool. The master room are spacious and lovely private bathrooms. Lots of space and equipment in the kitchen. Perfect house close to the Beach!

Great location

This house is beautiful right on the golf course on a quiet road. We loved our stay. We have a large family so finding a house with 5 bedroom within reasonable price is difficult. We loved the pool. The only downside is no air conditioning they do provide adequate fans and each bedroom a ceiling fan.

Family gathering place

This is the perfect home for a large family. Lots of congregating places and room for privacy. A very well stocked kitchen and grill. The pool was wonderful for keeping us wet between excursions to the beach. We hope to be back soon.

Great spot in Poipu

This is a wonderful property! It's well taken care of, very clean, well taken care of furniture, nice floors, large bedrooms & bathrooms. Hilights are a very functional up to date kitchen with plenty of cookware, utensils, plates and flatware and the back yard with a nice pool and very large patio and pool deck. Honestly this made our Christmas in Poipu just a bit nicer in that it provided all the comforts of home.

Great Hawaiian vacation

Our family (3 generations) had a great time at the Poipu house. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us. My son, (the chef) especially enjoy cooking in the kitchen with all of the appliances that were available. The kids enjoyed the pool and going to Poipu Beach nearby. Everything we wanted to do was nearby - snorkeling, watching/swimming with the turtles, grocery shopping, catching the boat for our Napoli boat ride, as well as getting to and from the airport at Lihue. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories of our vacation in Kauai.

Kauai home review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a great layout for large gatherings and sleeping accomodations. Needs quite a bit of updating or just plain maintenance - screen door was ripped, dishwasher only works if you put it on high temp and heavy duty. The worst part was no air conditioning - smoking hot in there! Fans were not even close to cooling down enough to sleep comfortably and when we arrived it was close to 100 degrees in the house from being all closed up. Not to mention that 3 of the fans didn't work and both TV's in the master bedrooms didn't work. We weighed having a pool or air conditioning and would probably choose air conditioning our next trip. House was really nice, though and views were good of golf course. Great beach really close by!

Awesome stay in a great location!

I have stayed in rentals all over the world and I can say that the photos are usually much better than the actual experience - but not in this case! I was a little worried as the photos looked a bit dated, but the house was even better in person than we could have imagined. The living room was absolutley huge and the kitchen was well stocked with a ton of dishware. We loved coming home and lounging by the pool. The BBQ was fanstatic and there was enough seating for over 10 people outside to enjoy. I am not a golfer, but we all enjoyed relaxing and staring out at the golf course during sunset. The house doesn't have AC, which would be my only complaint, but it was well stocked with floor fans - i counted two floor fans for every bedroom. The garage was stocked with beach chairs, a cooler, and a boogie board! A ton of bath towels were provided, but also beach towels which was great. A huge washer/dryer enabled us to do laundry which was great as well. The property is just up the road from a ton of restaurants in Poipu, which made our 1 minute drive for happy hour drinks an easy one. The rental company that handles the property was incredibly professional and easily reachable with questions. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property again.

Had a good layout for our group with lots of space to relax, play games, and enjoy the sunrises. The kitchen is large and very well furnished. The pool area has several seating areas. We were pleased to find a good supply of beach towels and beach chairs. Both the house and the pool were very clean and well cared for. A broken umbrella was replaced the same day. A couple of the beds are a bit softer than we would have liked. There are some restaurants and shops within walking distance and it's a quick drive to the beach. We would definitely recommend this house!
