We enjoyed our stay very much at this cabin. We love to go on the water with a pontoon so this was perfect. We caught lots and lots of fish (and threw them back for the next guests). The area was nice as well. Breakfast at the nearby casino, The Log Cabin Cafe in Crandon and the ice cream at Eats & Treats were enjoyed as well.
Check in was fine and the cottage was clean. Jay was very helpful with assisting us with the use of the pontoon. However, there was only one plate for the 2 of us, necessitating us procuring plates. It is a nice little cottage but although the ad says it sleeps 6 but there are only 3 chairs for a small table. Light was out and one bulb was missing.
We had a great time. 2 couples with a weekend away from the kids before school starts it was great. The boys learned to fish the lake and got a few pike and bass along with bullhead and small gills for bait. The Lake was very weedy and hard to fish in lots of areas. But we made do with no issues. Very peaceful lake not many people on it the whole time. Wasnt any traffic in the area. The ladys really enjoyed being out on the boat and hanging at the fire pit.

Dirty. Carpet has big burn marks. Cob webs everywhere. We books a week and left after 3 days.
Communication with the property manager and owner were amazing and always friendly plus professional as heck. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The beds were awesome. TV selection was very cool because we got to see many re-runs from days gone by plus current events. Cellphones worked great. Because the weather was really lousy, we didn't get to use the boat or grill but they sure looked like they would be fun. My wife and I have stayed in many cabins on lakes in Canada and many locations in the USA. This place was in the Top 5 out of 100's. Larry & Mary
She’s rustic. The photos online are from 2015 and the decor has barely changed. Overall it was clean but it’s old. The boat also old (has a tape deck) worked great though. My husband, myself and our 2 small dogs stayed for 3 nights. We fished, walked our dogs and did a lot of relaxing. The dvd (yes we went to the library and brought dvd’s) player works but only in black and white. The tv channels that came in were normal colors. The issue is the dvd player. The queen size mattress is quite uncomfortable (super firm yet jiggly??). In general could use some updating. With all that said we had a nice time. It was very quiet and relaxing.
We had a wonderful time. The cottage was clean and the lake had fish to catch. The pantoon was a great addition and the whole family loved spending time together on it.
We had a good time at the Lakeside cabin in Crandon. We had everything we needed in the cabin. We did not use the pontoon boat, but I did start it, and it seemed to work fine and a definite plus for the property in warmer weather. I will stay here again.
The place is cozy and all you need. Nothing fancy but what do you need if your fishing. The fishing was good but wish they were bigger. Small lake, nice and peaceful. Nobody tearing it up. Nice for small family. Would stay again.
Mid 80s in the middle of September didnt expect that. We were very happy there was an A/C unit. Cabin had everything we needed. Except maybe a couple more big plates would have been nice. Pontoon was amazing! Fish was a bit of a challenge because of the weeds but we still had fun. Fire pit is great! Enjoyed our time!!
