Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.
Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.
Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

Clean, easy, and well stocked

Check in was super easy, the property was family friendly, the cottage was clean, and i was really impressed by all the dishes in the kitchen. It was a nice property with a playground for the kids, would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Spot!

We enjoyed this location so much and the cabin was nice and clean. The location was quiet and had a playground for our kids to run off some energy. Nothing, but a positive experience!

Casual and comfortable like home.

After staying in some other disappointing places, it was a delight to finally find a stay that felt like home. Rooms, space and beds were clean, comfortable and the location by the lake meant seeing beautiful sunsets and lots of wildlife. Setting up a hammock under the large shade trees was great too. I would definitely rent from them again.

Everything was just as pictured. Easy check in and out. Well stocked with dishes and even extras like sone ground coffee and creamer for your first pot! Host had 2 box fans, extra pillows, blow dryer, and bedding if anyone wanted to sleep on the futon.

Great place!

We were very pleased with the cabin. It’s in a beautiful location. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough down-time to really enjoy the place! The cabin was fully stocked. Loved how many towels it was stocked with. No worries about using them all! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for others.

Super cute

Very nice 2 bedroom cottage. Cute and nicely decorated. Not very well stocked as far as tissue, paper tower, toilet paper, and soap but did have towels and clean sheets and blankets. Grill, picnic tables and chairs were nice to have. We went at a less busy time - mid May so we didn’t have any neighbors on our patio side. It would have been a little close if someone was in that next cabin. We went out and about most days for the full day and it was a nice cabin to come back to. Good location for your home base if going to Mt Rushmore, Custer, crazy Horse, etc

The people at the camp ground were incredibly nice and helpful! It was a peaceful stay at a beautiful location. There isn’t anything fancy about it but it is nice and very clean and maintained. The communication of guest responsibility’s was clearly stated and made our first excursion out of hotels and restaurants on vacation—-a wonderful experience

This cabin really needs an update. The carpet is old and smelly as is the futon cushion. We actually left 2 days early because we found it so uncomfortable.

Good layout but carpet had an animal smell and the window AC had a smell

The layout was good and clean. It needs new towels and better soap. The smell of pets was so bad from the carpet and the window AC that we did not come back until after 9:00 every night.

The overall it was nice and you felt safe and the cabin was clean but the living room furniture it needs some updates no cushioning and if you very large or had walking issues the bathroom was not good you had to sit sideways my husband and I are small to average so we made due and we had to leave a day sooner because. Of car issues so we did not get anything back but it is what it is

Located by a small lake. 2 good sized bedrooms. Air conditioning work well. We also used the fans provided. The bathroom was clean. Plenty of towels. Refrigerator was good sized. The stove/oven worked. The sitting room had 2 chairs and a sofa. The counter had 2 chairs good for eating. There were sufficient dishes. The coffere maker worked well. And there was a package of coffee to welcome us. It was comfortable older style cabin that worked well for us. Thsnk you.
