About this property

One of Homer's Best Views - Cabin #1 (family-friendly)

Enjoy our private two bedroom apartment complete with a full kitchen and gorgeous view just outside the front door. Perfect for small families and couples looking for a place to relax in Homer, or for a group of people looking for a home base on a fishing trip. Conveniently located, a short drive down West Hill Road places you close to local stores and downtown.

Guests will have access to the entire apartment with their own private entrance. Each cabin has a small tv, but we are unable to provide cable tv. Guests can bring their own rokus or firesticks to plug into the tv. Be sure to bring all cables required. Additionally, there is a picnic table and firepit that guests are welcome to use.

During your stay the host will always be available in the main house on the property.

Other things to note:
Room to turn around and park a boat.
Ask host if you have a small RV or trailer that you would like to hook up to power.

The check in was easy the cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The host were awesome and very interactive if you needed anything. We enjoyed the fire pit the grill the view and the Moose and her babies that came to visit us there! Great stay and experience!

Incredible view

Relaxing

This is a very pleasant accomodation. A couple of days relaxing and a couple of days fishing in a clean comfortable rental. Mike and his wife were helpful and available anytime we had questions.

Lovely cabin/house. Hosts took every care to make the stay comfortable, from a welcome basket with hot chocolate and pop corn, to extra new toothbrushes and plastic ware. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked and fridge had mayo and condiments. There was even laundry access. The best place we stayed in in Alaska!

Quiet and clean property with a beautiful view. The perfect basecamp for my family’s Homer Adventure. Located approximately ten minutes from the Spit. Property owner was very kind and helpful. The friendly German Shepherd was my four-year-old daughter’s favorite part of the stay. Would love to stay here again :)

Close to town

The cabin we stayed in was clean with all the amenities needed to a weekend getaway. Pw era were on site and very willing to help if anything was needed. Place was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

My adventure on the kenai was a series of amazing enciunters, views and discoveries. This accommodation was the oerfect home base and well appointed. hospitable hosts Michsel and Karyn have set up a " home away from home" i hope to return and be greeted by Sheba to see the peonies and breathe. Alaska Fishing Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Price was affordable and convenient location to the Homer Marina. We were thankful for all the amenities the hosts had stocked in the fridge( condiments, coffee and filters, etc. I’d highly recommend this unit to groups of three-four.

The directions were easy and clear. The space was clean and very comfortable. Towels were soft and everything was great. The whole process was easy. The location is perfect, too. You're close to ski trails and beautiful views as well as a short drive to great food and the life of Homer. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Homer Hilltop

This is a very spacious very comfortable unit. There was an easy self check in and we never saw or communicated with the propriatot but the way it was set up we had everything we needed. This place is on top of a hill a few miles from town so we drove to everything we wanted to see. Unfortunately we were in Homer on a Sunday so we didnt get to tour the Kilcher Homestead!

Excellent Escape in Homer!

We came up for a fishing trip. Hosts couldn't have been nicer. House was simple, clean, and great views. Perfect for the family get away while fishing in Homer! Definitely will see if it is available next year!

Really enjoyed our stay. A short drive outside of Homer. Very clean and the hosts were great. Views were amazing (once the clouds cleared!).
