2nd Stay with Family

This was my second time staying in this house and we were pleased. It was just as great as the last stay. Close proximity to the beach, nice neighborhood, spacious and friendly host. We plan to go back again next year.

Wonderful home away from home

We booked this property for the summer and loved it! Its a perfect sized (and spacious) home for 2 families. Home was clean, nicely decorated and furnished. Love that its close to everything — though by drive — we ended up visiting 3 boardwalks and even has a side trip to Cape May by ferry.

Very great place and neighborhood.

Check-in was seamless. The house is elegant and comfortable to stay. Everything needed for our stay was there. The house is close to the beach. The kids wish they could stay longer. It was very relaxing and homely. Thanks to the owner. We hope to be back sometime in the future.

The Property Far Exceeded Our Expectations

Ten members of my immediate family rented the property for a double birthday celebration. Kudos to the host! I recommend this property to any large group.

The house was fine but the housecleaning left a lot to be desired. The ground floor primary closet had food remnants and some dead bugs in it. The location is good, close to the famed Difebos and not too far from Bethany beach. The host however charged to repaint water stains she claims we left in the bathroom shower and used a fraudulent invoice. I called the company who she claimed provided the invoice, and the company said they did not provide the estimate she submitted to VRBO as proof of damage. VRBO did not care that the host was committing fraud. though the house is nice, i'd recommend avoiding this owner.

We appreciate all guest feedback and strive to provide a clean, well-maintained home and a positive experience for every stay. In this case, the guest left black stains on the bathroom wall that required repainting and also damaged the headrest of a sofa. The actual cost to repair the damage exceeded the amount we requested; we only charged $150, which covered only a portion of the repair expenses. The guest disputed the charge with Vrbo. We submitted photos, documentation, and supporting evidence as requested. After reviewing the information from both parties, Vrbo closed the case without issuing a refund. We stand behind the condition of our property and our handling of damage claims, and we remain committed to treating every guest fairly and respectfully.

Beautiful clean beach house

I was overall impressed with the cleanliness of the house. It was very spacious and beautiful. It was also located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was not that far from the beach or the boardwalk! My family was very impressed.

Good Accommodations

My overall evaluation is good. The house provided ample space for our family and was a short ride to the beach. Although we could get around it, my issue was with the cleaning. We found candy wrappers in one corner and the coffee makers were in desperate need of cleaning.

Awesome Stay

Thank you so much for sharing your house with us. I wanted to note that my husband is handicapped. He loved that there was a bedroom and a walk-in shower on the first floor and a beautiful open floor plan. It made it easy for him to get around in his wheelchair and walker. The 2 boys who are 15 and 16 year-olds rent bikes and they were able to go back-and-forth to the beach on their own.

This place is clean, big, and quiet. It’s definitely more of a drive than walk to the beach. There’s lots of chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrella, etc. there. Strongly recommend it.

Beautiful home

Everything was just as anticipated with a few exceptions. Renters should have a professional exterminator on a quarterly basis. There were ants on the kitchen counter and kitchen floor and also at the front door and front bedroom every day. Other than that, I would have been very happy with the house.

Amazing experience

My entire family and I spent the most amazing week here and enjoyed every moment. The house was super clean and even had paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, and laundry detergent. We had an issue with the dishwasher that was quickly and efficiently taken care of by the owner. Communication was a breeze. You can tell the owner has really thought about every aspect of the house. There are extra folding chairs and tables, beach toys, beach chairs, a wagon etc. The location was very accommodating. It’s right outside of the Bethany Beach limits but the drive to the beach was easy. There are plenty of stores nearby that made our stay easy and relaxing. Would give this house, our experience, and the owner 10 stars if we could!!!

Everything was really perfect. The beach was about a 5-10 minute drive away. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was more than enough space for everyone. The house is well kept and the host was super friendly. My family and I plan to visit again next summer!!

Great stay, clean and accommodating!

Very clean, well maintained newer house. Really liked the kitchen and all the storage, so you felt like you weren’t living out of your suitcase, but actually living in the home. Would like more lighting options so bright spotlights didn’t have to stay on in evening (maybe a coffee table, side table in main space), and more comfortable furniture in family room because that’s where everyone gathers… But this space is wonderful to share with a large family or a few friends.
