Chez Bear is set in one of the largest French Alps ski resort, Serre Chevalier. It offers a sauna, free WiFi and a home cinema.

The rooms feature a traditional chalet decor and have south facing views of the Durance valley and Briançon. Family rooms are available and feature a mezzanine. There are 5 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping potentially 14 people, but 10/12 comfortably.

Guests can relax in the living room, in the cinema or in the garden and enjoy the view of the mountains. The chalet also offers UK TV.

Chez Bear has a media room with Playstation and Wii games on the cinema screen. Summer activities in Serre Chevalier include road biking, VTT, hiking, rock climbing, rafting and much more! The area has so much to offer and boasts a warm, sunny climate. Briancon is charming French town, with a huge amount of history and culture. It offers a number of excellent restaurants as well as lots of sports facilities like an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

Your hosts will be able to provide you with insider knowledge of the best places to eat, must do activities and attractions to visit. Airport transfers are organised on request and a catered option can be arranged.

Hemos disfrutado de una maravillosa estancia en este alojamiento, el cual es grande y provisto de más entretenimientos de los que uno se pueda imaginar. La ubicación es muy buena y las vistas maravillosas. El trato con Joe excepcional. Los únicos peros los situó en el concepto de la propia casa, me pareció un hostal que tiene su maximo esplendor en invierno por lo que se notaba una cierta dejadez en aspectos tales la limpieza y el estado del jardín, bastante descuidado. Si no hubiera sido por estas dos cuestiones, perfectamente salvables, la estancia hubiera sido perfecta. Joe es un encanto y su casa es un lugar perfecto para pasar unas maravillosas vacaciones

Very characterful and charming house in a very convenient location.

A large property, perfect for family/friends holidays. Great location with lots of amenities in the town (5min drive). Normally rented out as catered during the winter - which allows the property to be at its best. Self catering is more of a challenge with the kitchen situated one floor below the dining area that could be a challenge for some. The rear garden is an underused space in the summer and needs tidying up. But overall it’s a great house and well equipped for a memorable holiday
