Come enjoy the beauty of Downtown Athens! This quaint, well decorated and eclectic retreat is perfect for enjoying Athens and surrounding areas! Walking distance to: Campus/ Sanford Stadium, Restaurants, Bars, Music Venues, Breweries, Coffee Shops and more!

We are approximately 1 mile from the UGA Arch & 1/2 mile from Historical Downtown Athens with many places to shop, eat and explore. Walking/Biking distance to Downtown, North Campus, Sandford Stadium, NormalTown and Five Points.

A short 3 minute drive to the Beechwood/Alps shopping centers. Prince Ave, NormalTown is just 4 blocks from your front door...Enjoy walking, biking or running in a very respected, beautiful Athens Historic neighborhood!

Convenient to all major roads that lead in and out of Athens! Accessible from both the East or West side of the bypass and Atlanta Highway.

Built in 1935 the home is encompassed by a very nice yard with lots of gorgeous trees!! 🦋

As you enter the home, you will feel as if you are stepping back in time! In an effort to make your visit a UNIQUE EXPERIENCE (not just somewhere to sleep) we got creative and worked endlessly (traveling to and fro) gathering a mix of Mid Century and antique pieces to make it a bit groovy! In addition, this visual vacation offers lots of bright colors and hues making it festive and a bit edgy!

For your listening pleasure, there is a turntable with a small selection of artists to choose from. We encourage you to bring some of your favorite vinyl.

Among many things, there are two new flat screen televisions with ROKU in the master bedroom (Netflix, Pandora, and more). A private dressing table for the ladies be able to relax while getting dressed! In addition, you and your guests will also enjoy 100% Cotton Sheets and Towels.

The back porch and patio allow a view of the serene, spacious backyard perfect for relaxing, grilling, dining, chilling out and tailgating with your friends and family. UGA corn-hole boards add to the fun! Fire Pit for fall fires. Parking for 4 vehicles.

Dogs are welcome ($200 nonrefundable deposit). Our yard is spacious and fenced-in! 🐶 NO CATS. Any undisclosed pets discovered will incur an additional $350 charge.

We have taken great pride in providing our guest with all the essentials of home and more! Well maintained, professionally cleaned and disinfected top to bottom and inspected after every guest visit. We will continue working to make everything safe, sanitary and perfect for all of our guests.

Great little home for graduation weekend. Good location to UGA - easy mile walk to stadium and Stegman. Very clean and comfortable beds. Loved the welcome basket as well! Yard is huge and great if you wanted to bring your fur babies.

Awesome home close to UGA. Everything you need for a stay in Athens. Great patio, backyard, cool decorations, lots of space, parking. Hone is walking distance to downtown and Prince street. Loved our stay!

Love this place!

The moment we pulled in and opened the gate we felt at home. The house was perfect and very comfortable. Love the “old school” feel; goes well with the Athens vibe. Joel and Dana were great hosts and even made sure to stock the fire pit before we arrived. We will be back again.

Really great house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this really cool house! It was immaculate and stocked with everything one could possibly need. There was even a welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of Prosecco! We will definitely be booking this home again. The only downfall is the surrounding properties seemed a little shady.

A very charming home close to downtown Athens.

The house is incredibly clean and updated. The kitchen has everything you need to eat in. All the rooms are filled with vintage furniture and decor. Joel immediately responded to emails prior to our arrival and checked in during our stay.

Never Disappoints!!!

This is our fourth stay at this property. Even after trying a few other VRBO properties in Athens, we keep coming back to this one! The owners are a joy to work with, the home is nicely appointed and always clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location is convenient to everything we do in Athens. The fenced backyard is an added bonus when traveling with our dog. We will absolutely continue to book here.

Wonderful house with super cool, retro chic decor.

We cannot wait to stay at Old School again! The house was super clean, well-equipped, and very convenient to campus and the downtown Athen bar scene. This house is perfect for parents who are in town visiting their kids on campus, but also for families who are bringing additional kids up to Athens with them (the second bedroom was very nice)! We will be back!

Funky and Cool

Evacuating Savannah for a hurricane (again) and decided to make a "hurrication" out of it. This charming house was clean, comfortable, decorated with an awesome funky vibe, and close to everything Athens has to offer. The best part was the fenced in large back yard which made traveling with our dog a breeze. The owners were responsive, communicative, and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice place. Great hosts.

The hosts have put a lot of thought and effort into making the house comfortable and well provisioned. We appreciated this very much as we were there for several days and needed to settle in a little. Downtown and campus are a comfortable walk and other parts of the city are easily accessible. The house is in a neighborhood that has a lot of variability in the condition of the homes, but we never felt uncomfortable and we walked every day.
