About this property

Lake Erie Island Condo

Beautiful, modern, clean, two-bedroom condo sleeps four. WE DO NOT ACCEPT INQUIRIES ABOVE 4 GUESTS. Water front view is spectacular. Granite counters in kitchen and baths. The downstairs master has a king bed, upstairs has a queen and sleeper futon. Brand new appliances. Private balcony includes 2 lounge chairs, small table, umbrella, and a barbecue grill. Just a short walk over to St. Hazard's Resort is the pool. Ohio State Park is next door, with new, beautiful marina complex, campground, and beach. Tour the island by bike (rentals at state park complex) or by golf cart (rentals at J.F. Walleyes Restaurant). Put-In-Bay is a pleasant, half-hour ferry ride away on the "Sonny S" ferry. The "Sonny S" makes several trips a day. Middle Bass was originally named Isle de Fleurs or Island of Flowers, a family-friendly blend of nature and serenity.

Building quiet hours are 11pm to 8am. We maintain a strict noise policy. First call to police for violation of quiet hours, a warning is received. Second call results in expulsion and loss of payment and damage deposit.

Unless you have your own boat or plane, the Island is accessed by the Miller Ferry, (exit 124 off of Route 2 West). To bring your vehicle over, you must reserve a spot for it on the ferry, 1-800-500-2421, call up to two weeks ahead. Check out the Miller Ferry website for rates for people, bikes, and vehicles.

Middle Bass is a smaller, low-key island in comparison to South Bass (Put-In-Bay). There is great pizza (sit down place) at the general store. Two other restaurants are on island. We have had good food at J.F. Walleyes. Lots of people ferry to South Bass for their meals also. For those staying more than a couple of days, we recommend you bring your fresh produce with you, as general store is great but limited with some offerings.

Awesome place!

Beautiful condo in a truly magical setting! The view is a billion dollar view! Hosts were perfect at communication and suggestions to do in the area! We toured all of middle bass and south bass and truly loved middle bass. Everyone we met was fantastic! Check out all of the eating/drinking establishments and just make connections because the area is magical!

A relaxing ladies trip

Our overall stay was awesome! One of the best short term rentals that we have stayed in! The communication was fantastic! The condo was very clean, had everything that you may need and had a beautiful view! We cannot wait to return!!

We had a wonderful stay at Audrey & Bob’s condo! The condo was clean, with a nicely stocked kitchen and all the amenities of home! The hosts communicated everything we could need, along with tips and recommendations. They clearly take pride in their condo and making sure we had a wonderful stay in MBI! This end unit has an incredible view and there was nothing better than enjoying our coffee on the lovely balcony! We loved being able to use the amenities of the resort while being tucked away from it all. They really were fantastic hosts and we look forward to staying with them again!!

Great property. Nice, clean and well-equipped. Property manager, Natalie, is excellent-helpful, kind, friendly. Very nice owners, as well. Would have enjoyed an outdoor table on the patio. Grill was a definite plus! Beds very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo complex is nice and peaceful. The condo itself was very clean, extremely usable for our family of 4, in a relaxing location overlooking the lake, and the owners provided all the information you would ever need to have a completely prepared stay on middle bass island. Loved it. May come back annually.

Weekend getaway

Host was wonderful very communicative up to and including the ferry information It was clean with a a spectacular view was within walking distance of the beach and pool, Neighbors were pleasant and quiet, no issues with others pets. Store and alternative eating were close by General store had most staples but no meat. Definitely recommend this unit for a quit get away

Quartet Stay

This was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Middle Bass Island and the Barbershop shows. Our husbands sing in a quartet and we had fun listening to them and others. Since we left home with no power, crazy storms that came through Geauga County, it was a relief to have electricity, water, areas to charge our phones and ability to use a laptop to watch the progress of electrical power returning to our area. It was great to have staple items provided, like coffee, tea, sugar, honey, etc. and a welcome gift of chocolates (yum). Also the sleeping arrangements were very accommodating. It was a pleasure to stay here and we hope to come back next year.

Abive-and-Beyond Expectations

Welcoming. Clean. Easy access. Peaceful. We loved the balcony. We spent most of our time sitting there when we weren't exploring the island or at the pool. There were all the necessary appliances and more. We all highly recommend this condo. Out host was very helpful and communicative for any questions. She actually provided answers before I asked! 😊

Blast on Middle Bass!

My wife and I stayed here recently and it was stellar. Bob and Audrey were excellent hosts with great communication and an easy check in and check out process. They even left a hand written note and bottled waters and chocolates for us when we arrived! The condo is in an excellent location on Middle Bass which is much more low key than south bass (put in bay). You can easily get to put in bay though should you choose with the Sonny S Ferry. There are good Restaurants and Bars in walking distance as well as the state park marina. The Condo has an excellent balcony and perfect Sunrise view over the Lake! It’s a little pice of paradise that’s totally worth checking out! I know we’ll be back soon!

Great island rental!

Beautiful corner unit condo with everything you need and great view of Lake Erie! We came for a fun weekend with another couple and took the ferry over to Put-in-Bay on Saturday for some bar hopping. Audrey was great communicating with us in advance to make sure we knew about the ins and outs of Middle Bass Island, taking the ferry, and other recommendations. The condo was perfect for 2 couples with a separate bedroom & bathroom upstairs. Lots of towels including beach towels, basic pans & cooking items, and lots of games. Hazards has a nice pool area and tiki bar with fun music on weekend nights. Service was very slow at the Hazards restaurant with only one server but we were in no hurry and felt bad for her while other customers seemed mad. We would definitely stay at this unit again!

Great location!

Great corner unit condo with lake views and easy access to the pool, restaurants and the ferry. We like the laid back feel of Middle Bass Island and the owner was very to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Great Accomodations!

If you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy beautiful lake views, this is perfect for a couple or family! We had absolutely everything that we needed to enjoy our time with our three small children. The balcony is such a nice place to relax, and the two spacious bedrooms were perfect for all of us. Communication with the host was superb; they offered every single bit of information you need to get to the island, get to the condo, and enjoy your time exploring. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful condo, great view from balcony

Had a great time in this condo. It was very neat and tidy, with a comfortable bed. The best part is the view from the balcony. It's right on the lake. There are comfy chairs and table on the balcony as well. We hope to be back again someday.
