Welcome to our little piece of paradise. If you’re looking for an entirely private apartment with a separate living area, kitchen and master bedroom with a king bed, you’ve come to the right place. Each apartment has it’s own separate entrance for privacy. Outdoor areas are shared with other guests and the homeowners. The lush landscaping throughout the property and water views of The Middle River, will make you feel like you’re in paradise. Middle River surrounds Wilton Manors. The Island City and goes through parts of Fort Lauderdale, connecting to the Intracoastal Waterway. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to explore, we also have kayaks and paddle-boards. We are located walking distance to Wilton Drive (a.k.a The Drive) but on a quiet street away from all the hustle and bustle. This listing is for one of two available apartments at this property. Each apartment is different and with it’s own unique features, so please checkout the complete details and photos to decide which best fits your needs. My partner and I live downstairs and share the outside areas with our guests. Both apartments are upstairs, there is no elevator access to the second floor. We are a gay couple and rent to MEN ONLY. All outdoor areas including, pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, covered patio and outdoor dining areas are clothing optional. We want you to feel comfortable, wear as much or as little as you’d like. We offer a relaxing setting where you can lounge comfortably by the pool, listen to music, read a book or sit by the water and watch the sun go down. There’s also a private play area... We are a friendly open-minded household where you can getaway from it all, sit and chill or indulge in all the fun, restaurants and bars Wilton Manors (a.k.a. The Gayborhood) has to offer. Wilton Manors is one of the top gayest cities in U.S. and is home to the annual Stonewall Pride Parade, FlockFest (beach party), Floatarama (pride on the water), and Wicked Manors (annual Halloween event). There’s always something fun going on at The Drive or venture out to several of the nearby bathhouses. We’re a short drive to the beaches and downtown Fort Lauderdale. Ten minute drive to Las Olas Blvd and close to several shopping venues including The Galleria Mall and Coral Ridge Mall. We are also walking distance to Ramrod.

We are available for long term rentals, up to 3months. Contact us for more information and date availability. Due to high demand December through April dates are typically reserved one year in advance and require a minimum 3 week stay.

Perfect place for a getaway.

My wife and I wanted to get a away from the cold weather. We found this place and it was close to paradise. Scott is very nice and is happy to help accommodate your needs. The garden view room was spacious and had everything you need to feel like you're home. With the inground pool, hot tub, and the view of the back canal made relaxing too easy. Great location, we didn't have to travel more then 15 min to our destinations. Would definitely come back.

Great place in Wilton Manors!

This is a great property. It's new and very clean. And very private. The "Garden View" apartment we stayed in was bigger/roomier than we expected. The pool is heated and very nice. The owners were very friendly. Better than I expected. It's very close to bars, you (Georgie's Alibi is about a 10 minute walk, or a very cheap and easy Uber). Thank you!!! I highly recommend this place!!

Gorgeous Compound & Gracious Hosts

This was our second stay with Scott and Rod, but this time in the Garden View unit. The unit is clean, roomy and very well appointed. The pool, the grounds, and the atmosphere are superb. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations and more gracious hosts. The whole compound is like a private & tranquil high-end luxury resort. And Scott & Rod were indeed gracious, unobtrusive, and friendly hosts. MRL is certainly a place I would highly recommend to anyone who wishes some private, yet friendly, luxurious surroundings.

Wow!

Not sure what else can be said, but I'll try: I was here for almost three weeks. The hosts are cool and laid back yet attentive, the apartment is immaculate, modern and comfortable, and everything works. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The experience is light years better than any hotel. I felt right at home (that was important for me) and would go back in a flash!

UNBELIEVEABLE! A++++

Having seen a lot of what FLL has to offer in terms of rentals -- this place is best of luxury! Scott and Rod were amazing hosts! I haven't been this relaxed while on vacation in a very long time. Close to everything yet enjoyed the private seclusion. The accommodations are modern and up-to-date. Pictures don't do it justice! Every detail was considered and made available during my stay. It felt like home. I look returning soon!

Lovely apartment in a great home

We had a wonderful, relaxing long weekend at this place. Location is great, right next to Wilton Manor, one of the up and coming neighborhoods of Fort Lauderdale. 5-10 minute drive to all the attractions, 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops etc. The apartment is beautifully decorated, as is the whole house, located next to a tranquil body of water. Hot tub and pool are clean and inviting. We had a BBQ out in the pool area, which is very privated. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Scott was a perfect host to us throughout. Highly recommended and we will be back! :-)

Middle River Paradise

Hi, my husband and I stayed here for 5 weeks. The hosts were very friendly and we had nice conversations. The unit was as described in the listing and had everything we needed for our stay; especially for cooking and storing food . The unit was clean upon arrival and easy to care for. The grounds were excellent with a nice view of the river, a great pool, a hot tub, and nice places to sit (in sun or shade). An easy walk to a convenience store and several shops and eateries; for a longer walk, but not too bad, you could venture into the heart of Wilton Manors and leave the car behind. Will gladly return!

Superb Guest Suite

The guest suites at this property are impeccable. I stayed in the Garden View Suite, a bit larger, however the Ocean View Suite has great views. Everything about this place was perfect. Communication, self-entry and check in, to a beautifully appointed and quiet apartment. You need to bring absolutely nothing. Good restaurants are a few blocks from here, as are the bars. I chose not to have a car, and walked or took uber. Arnie and Jacob are gracious hosts - with wonderful 'southern' hospitality. I look forward to a return in the near future!

Great place to stay in Wilton Manors!

This is a very nicely appointed spacious apartment. Scott, the owner, has gone above and beyond by including many amenities that we have not seen in other places we have rented. He is also very responsive and easy to deal with. The bedroom and the living room are very modern but comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need (pots, pans dishes, etc.) You even have a cocktail shaker to make martinis and sip them by the beautiful pool area. The heated pool has the perfect temperature and was always kept very clean. If you have an opportunity to rent this unit for your vacation, do not hesitate. You will enjoy all aspects of this wonderful home! We look forward to returning sometime in the near future!

Comfortable 1-bedroom

We recently spent a few days at one of the 2 units at this location. The unit we stayed in (Garden View) had a larger kitchen, while the other unit (Pool View) had a smaller kitchen, but its own balcony (which you can see from the attached picture - so that may help you decide which unit you'd prefer). Our unit was had plenty of room, and you could easily stay for an extended period. The property has been updated with a new bathroom, kitchen - and also has the latest tech such as streaming TV / music, Nest thermostat and programmable door (which is super convenient as you never have to worry about forgetting your key). The outdoor area is also nice - with lounge seating for 4, a gazebo-covered table (if you want to get out of the sun), and a private hot tub. Overall - this is a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price. Oh - and the owners' dog is just the adorable. I think you'll enjoy your stay.

Awesome Garden View

We stay in the garden view apartment. Spotless and decorated beautifully. Everything you need is there. Pool is fantastic and the water temperature was perfect. Beautiful canal view. In a gorgeous tropical garden with chaises and sitting areas. The hot tub was a great way to relax. Arnie and Jacob are excellent hosts. Bono, their sweet dog will steal your heart. Thank you guys for a great Memorial Weekend.

"PARADISE of WILTON MANORS"

This property is FABULOUS!! We loved the decor and the style of this getaway dream. We felt WELCOME and at home from Scott as soon as we arrived. He is the Host with the MOST!! Excellent Accommodation, Location and Hosts

I come to Fort Lauderdale often for work and always stay in a hotel. For this trip, my husband accompanied me and he suggested we stay somewhere else and try a VRBO or Airbnb property. He found Scott and Rod's property which looks great on the site and has excellent reviews. The property is extremely convenient to downtown Fort Lauderdale and is walking distance to all the nightlife on Wilton Drive. We booked the Pool View apartment and are glad we did. The photos of the property on the site are accurate. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable. It is impeccably maintained and clean. The king-size bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, should anybody want to cook. Scott and Rod live below the two apartments they let and provide guests access to the pool and hot tub areas, which are very nice. The grounds around the property are well manicured and attractive. Scott is an impeccable host who made us feel welcomed immediately, as did Scott and Rod's pup, Chewy. Through our stay we met new friends that we hope to see again. I'm planning to stay at Scott and Rod's place the next time I travel to Fort Lauderdale. We want to thank Scott and Rod for a wonderful stay and a great time.

The property is awesome and I felt right at home.

The apartment is spacious, modern and tastefully decorated. Scott and Rod are superb hosts and make you feel like family. The pool, jacuzzi and canal are all nice amenities and the location is ideal: close to the beach and near great restaurants and shopping in Ft Lauderdale and Wilton Manors. It truly is a great place to stay and I will definitely return!

Great property, Great location, Amazing hosts

This property is everything you would hope for when you book VRBO. Tastefully appointed, decorated, and immaculately clean. The kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking needs. Easy walking distance into Wilton Manors, but tucked away nicely on the canal for a since of peace and quiet. The grounds are of resort quality. We spent time in the pool and hot tub daily. Sebastian Beach is an easy 10 minute drive, but honestly, we enjoyed much of our time without ever leaving the property. We could not ask for better hosts, and now friends, Rod and Scotty. If you are single or partnered, and looking for an amazing gay owed and catered to property, look no further, you will not find the higher quality in the area.
