Set directly across from the main entrance to Moonlight Beach, this modern coastal home is just a few footsteps from the sand with no stairs to navigate. The home sits at an elevated angle with panoramic views of white-water waves, surfers, volleyball courts, playground activity, bonfires, and sunsets. (But it's quieter then other nearby houses.) The property includes oversized, private, fully fenced outdoor living areas and contemporary interior finishes. Large glass openings connect the interior to the outdoor space, and the home is equipped with central A/C and heat.
Floor Plan:
This is a luxury, custom, contemporary beach home with two large, full levels designed for comfort, views, and indoor-outdoor living. Ocean and beach views are visible from multiple rooms, including the main living areas and first-floor family room.
The first-floor family room opens directly to the entertainers dream yard through a full glass wall and includes a large sectional sofa, 80 inch mounted TV and musical equipment and game. This level also includes a kitchenette, access to 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, the laundry room, and the garage. Perfect for the kids and teenagers to have their own space.
Upstairs, the huge, bright great room included living room, modern kitchen and dining area; sectional seating, an electric fireplace, a mounted TV, and access to an large outdoor deck with seating and Evo/BBQ grill and a pass through window/bar to the kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the beach, allowing views of the sunset, shoreline, playground, volleyball courts, and ocean activity.
Two bedroom are located off the main living level. The primary bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom, access to private office and access to the deck. Also on this floor is a additional gust bathroom and bedroom with an Italian-made murphy bed - or it can be used as an extra office or gym with Tonal Machine (Membership needed) - but free weights, bench and light equipment is provided as well as a massage table.
Outdoor Areas:
Both outdoor areas are beach-facing and fenced, providing separation from foot traffic while remaining visually connected to the beach.

Bluff homes look great in photos, but they are not accessible to the beach, have difficult parking some don't have great fencing.
From this house, you can softly see and hear the waves but the bluff houses are too loud to get a good nights sleep.

We are bi-coastal and preferr Winters and Summers in San Diego, but would welcome more time in NYC of the right lease. I manage this property as well as a long term luxury rental and facilitate women's workshops and retreats at our Moonlight property, our Rancho Santa Fe property and around San Diego. I am easily available for your questions or any help you need with your stay.
Why they chose this property
It has the perfect location and it is very new, luxurious and modern with lots of bedrooms and baths! It is the only house with an additional family room with kitchen and large patio with BBQ. The view is fantastic. The house is where all the action is and it's an easy walk to and from the beach. No stairs like the bluff homes! Dont be fooled by the ocean bluff views on Nautilus, because you'll have a hard time getting to the beach and it will be black at night. Our view has EVERYTHING going on at the beach plus whitewater views and accessibility. The lifeguards, first aid, concession stand, and rental stand are all right across the street. The best coffee, pizza, sandwich shop and ice cream in town is 2 short blocks away or .2 miles. The Historic 101 highway and shopping "main street" are also two blocks away.

I am a luxury traveler and know what is needed for an exquisite experience. I also have kids and have decorated the home to with comfort in mind to appeal to kids
