Great getaway in Tumut

Camelia Cottage is a great place to stay. The accommodation is exactly as described. Brett is a wonderful host, he welcomed us warmly and explained the cottage fully. The cottage is on a working farm and we enjoyed sitting on the verandah for breakfast and watching the cows nearby. We'll be back.

A relaxing place to stay

A relaxing place to stay with town just a short trip away across the river . Brought back a few child hood memories of waking up to the magpies in the morning on the family farm . The kids got to spend some time playing in the river and as blackberry's were in season even a picked some at flat rock. The local pubs also put on a good feed . Just what we were looking for a chance to have a holiday away from the beach crowds and traffic.

Beautiful River Cottage

We loved our stay at the Camelia Cottage. Brett was great and gave us lots of helpful advice. It's in a gorgeous setting and the walk into town is easy. If you are lucky you may come across a friendly porcupine like I did.
