Little River stay

We had a fantastic stay at Elm Cottage celebrating Dads 80th birthday. The setting location is amazing - river, the hills, the well kept and artistic surrounds. The house was ideal for a large group like ours and plenty of space to relax. Super amenities in the house. We had a fantastic stay.

This is a great property in a fantastic location. It is a good space for a large group and the deck offers a great view of the river. Plenty of cutlery and glasses and an excellent BBQ. Directions to the property were clear. Excellent communication with the host as well.

Our family of eight people experienced an enjoyable stay in a very well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Nestled in the hills surrounding Tumut and adjacent to the river, the location was perfect. We did however become a little disoriented returning to the accommodation in the dark and after enjoying a delightful meal at The Star hotel. Some solar lighting on the direction signs along the road once you leave Little River road would assist guests. Overall, a delightful stay and would certainly recommend Yellowbox guest house to others visiting the Tumut region.

Kevin, thank you for your review of Yellowbox cottage. We had solar lights along our internal road but unfortunately the cattle and sheep kept destroying them and to be honest to have street lights is unaffordable and takes away from the country ambience.

Beautiful property in amazing surrounds. Very clean. David was a wonderful and friendly host. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property. We had a fantastic holiday!
