Clean, comfortable and convenient accommodation in an idyllic location. Host, Brett, was very welcoming and happy to share local information and recommendations. The beautiful cows in the paddock were a bonus!
The kids and I loved staying in Lavender Cottage. We woke up each morning with a view across to the river and cows in the field right outside. The cottage was cosy and super clean, with very comfy beds. It had all the amenities we needed, and was a great base for us to explore Yarrangobilly Caves and the national parks, and snow play at Kiandra. Tumut and surrounds is a beautiful part of the world. We can’t wait to return.
The property was clean relaxing and lovely and private

Beautiful and so quiet
Ahhhhh a comfortable bed, a great shower and a chance to wash the clothes.
Brett has a fantastic knowledge of the local area and was very helpful. Nice to hear the cows and a little visit from his doggy. Fishing folk will be VERY happy.
Tumut is a really surprising little place and some great antique shops not far from there in Adelong !
Brett is clearly invested in environmental sustainability so if you are in the area please stay at this beautiful accommodation. Photos are genuine. We will be back some day.
