Staying at Rich and Judy's place was such a pleasant experience. They had everything you would need to enjoy the beautiful Lake Saint Catherine, and items you would need to cook for the family in the kitchen. The memories the kids have created will be forever remembered. Definitely recommend staying here.

Great stay!
Had a wonderful stay at Tall Trees! The availability of two cottages was perfect for our large family. The location is private yet accessible to town. It's also on the perfect side of the lake with sun into the late afternoon. The houses are well-appointed and the use of a rowboat, canoe, kayaks, and waterside chairs made the trip hassle-free. Communication regarding the rental was seamless from start to finish. We definitely hope to stay here again! Thanks Rich and Judy for a great summer stay!
Tall Trees is indeed a hideaway and it's a gem. The 2 cottages are tucked away at the end of a private driveway and right on Lake St. Catherine. We loved walking across the yard to sit on the dock each day. The houses themselves are both very well kept. The lakeside house is great for group meals and hangouts, while the "little cottage" is super cute and has more of a cabin feel.
We had a wonderful stay here. The property was beautiful, the dock a perfect spot to enjoy the lake and there was so much to do. Will definitely come back!
Can't imagine a better option for a family vacation at the lake. The cabins were clean and comfortable with a full compliment of appliances, cookware, etc. and the large grill on the wrap around deck worked perfectly! 2 full sized picnic tables on the deck also made it easy and convenient to enjoy meals outside. With plenty of chairs stored in the dock shed we spent most evenings on the dock catching up under the stars. The kayaks and rowboat were also fun! (there were plenty of life vests of various sizes) The owners, Rich and Judy were informative, responsive, and as my wife said multiple times, super nice people. We highly recommend this property!
The two cottages are completely well equipped with everything possible to cook and eat. This ranges from table cloths, baggies, mixer, serving bowls and conjoined picnic tables on the deck.
The layout of the yard is great . There is a fire pit with plenty of chairs, dock with afternoon sun and water toys.
Easy access for swimming with a float is available. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to tie off on the dock.
If you love to use the lake for everyday water fun, this is a perfect spot.

Judy and her family were wonderful, respectful guests. They truly know how to enjoy Lake Life. We would welcome them back anytime.
We have rented several places over the past two decades, and this one by far was the best. From the home baked cookies on the table when we arrived, to all the deck chairs, boats, etc., everything was impeccable. The two separate places were perfect for our family of 7. Both places were clean, neat and contained everthing you need for your stay.
And to top it off, we had the best summer weather too, which isn't always a sure thing in Vermont! I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing for a wonderful time. Thank you Judy & Rich for your hospitality. We hope to be back again in the future. 😊

Beautiful location, large property right on the lake
Beautiful location, fully equipped and comfortable house with open floor plan. Back cottage allowed for plenty of room for extra guests. Sit on the Adirondack chairs on the dock and take in the entire lake view...

Rich and Judi make it feel like home.
Great property for multiple families or people travelling with small kids. Nothing worse than worrying my baby will wake up someone else's kid! The boats and lake gear made me feel like a local and the proximity to the state park is amazing for kids young and old.

The cabin was clean and well stocked with every comfort you could want.
We had such such a lovely time. My family enjoyed the backyard with the dock and the firepit. There were lots of lawn chairs where you could relax and enjoy the sun. The dock was beautiful and they had several boats that they allowed us to play around in. There were also loads of life vests, which made it possible to have several people in boats and on the water at the same time. The kitchen had all kinds of utinsels and supplies. It made cooking in the cabin so easy. Owners were friendly and easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again.

Tall Trees was Amazing
Our family rented Tall Trees for two weeks. Having two separate cottages as part of the same rental allowed us to spread folks out comfortably. The inside of each cottage was well equipped and the mattresses were all comfortable. Outside, the dock and fire pit areas were very nice and there were so many water toys... paddle boat, canoe, kayak and rowboat!
As the property sits on the east shore of the lake, the evening sunsets were like fire in the sky over the mountains, and the central mid-lake location allowed for day trips to the Lily Pond on the north side or Cones Point to the south. In addition, the cottages are located at the end of a road which creates a private setting.
Thanks Rich and Judy for a wonderful vacation rental!
Sincerely,
"The Texas Group"

Perfect Vermont Lake getaway!
T
The Tall Trees property is an excellent choice to stay if you seek a vermont lake vacation! It has all amenities that you need and want, in a quiet, private lake front setting. The property is adjacent to a state park, with easy access to hiking trails, firewood, and a sandy beach.
The property has a dock, and a local marina will rent you a jet ski and an 18 foot runabout to ski and tube. Killington and the Appalachian Trail are less than an hour away for other outdoor adventures.
The owners of this property are quick to respond to all inquiries, and have provided lots of lake amenities, such as tubes, furniture, fishing poles, kayak, canoe and row boat.
If our vacation plans next year inlude a lake visit, we will return to Tall Trees.

About the host
Hosted by Judy or Rich Kaiser
My wife Judy and I live in Connecticut and have been coming to Lake St. Catherine with our children since 1993. Our time at The Lake has provided us with a much needed respite from the hustle and bustle of our every day lives. Our family has made many memories together at The Lake and we look forward to making many more in the years to come.
Why they chose this property
Tall Trees is a very special and unique property on Lake St. Catherine. The Main House was built in 1915, one of the original "camps" on the Lake. The property is fairly secluding owing to its location at the very end of Kinni Kinnic Lane. Over time the Lakeview House and the Little Cottage were added to create a true family compound. The abundant shoreline and wealth of "Tall Trees" provide add to the sense of seclusion and to the true Lake/Mountain experience.
What makes this property unique
What is unique about this property for us and for others who experience it is the ability to utilize more than one home to accommodate your friends and family. Sure, we all get along but, there are times when, at the end of the day, it is nice to retire to your own place for a good nights sleep.
