Loved the house and the property. Private location and super quiet. Enjoyed picking the fresh fruit for a snack. House was clean with plenty of space for the family. Would recommend!

Great Guesthouse in Gilroy
We had a great stay in this house over Labor Day weekend. The house was in a nice secluded location yet near to town. Very spacious and had everything we needed - even had crib and high chair for the babies. Had a small glitch with the water but host and property manager were very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!
This was a great location for us to attend a family wedding and to explore the cute town of Gilroy. We had good food and coffee in town, and a quiet relaxing spot in the house.

Location
The property is very cozy and clean in a private location. I had been in this same house when I was in this location.
Our family really enjoyed staying on this property. If we return to the area next year, we wouldn’t think twice about staying here. Good communication from the owner, plenty of space and it was an easy stay overall. Great rental!
Great location, clean, and good arrival and check-out communication/instructions. Some windows and the sliders did not have screens. String for master suite closet light had been removed so the light stayed on. Low water pressure but likely because the property is on a well. However, these things were minor and didn’t spoil our visit.
Generally we had a good stay and it’s a nice location. There were just a number of small issues that added up to being enough that we wouldn’t stay again without things being resolved. The plug on the spout of the tub to use the shower in the main bathroom didn’t work at all so we couldn’t use it. There was no light switch in the closet or the pull cord was pulled out so I had to unscrew the light bulb. The water pressure in the other shower was near zero so 4 people with long hair made for difficult showers. A towel rack was falling off. Some light switches didn’t all work all the time. These were mostly small issues that if any one was there it wouldn’t be a big deal but all of them added up to being a bit frustrating especially at the price point.
Nice place to stay while in town, good size and layout for a larger group. There was a small issue with cleaning not being done on time but the owners were very gracious in communicating and making sure that it was done.
From the scenery to the hosts, our experience is one that we will remember for years to come. We picked fresh grapes, apples and more from the trees, we walked around the property feeling the breeze and taking in the beauty of the area. The home was comfortable and we loved it! Thank you for the moments with our family! #TheVinsons
Of the three houses I booked in California this one had the most problems and needs repairs. Since I was traveling with my kids it concerned me that the bathroom and kitchen were not GFI grounded circuits. The plug we used near the sink and the light switches in the hall bath could have shocked them. We lost power the kitchen and almost spoiled the food in the fridge because there’s too much on a single circuit. Lights in the bathrooms, main bedroom, dining room outlets, and the kitchen appliances are too much. The panel is outside around by the dining room BTW. Also the washer dryer is in a separate utility building between this guest house and another guest house next door…it’s a short walk so bring big shopping bags. The machines are older so do small loads. It took me about 4 hours to wash and dry my jumbo load! The smell of fertilizer isn’t overwhelming but takes some getting used to. It is a working farm and there are fruit trees and crops all around. There’s a horse farm right down the street with ostriches! The kids had great bunk beds but our queen beds in the other two bedrooms were so firm I thought they were fake. Like showroom samples or just sleeping on a box spring, but I checked and it was a mattress- just really really really firm. The bathtub in the master bathroom just kept a steady dripping flow the whole time- there was no way to stop the water sound or waste. The hallway bathroom shower handle falls off because the set screw is missing so turn it on for your kids and set the temp for them. My last thought is the wall switches in the dining room - be sure the round dimmer switch is there because my Dad cut his arm on the bare post sticking out because it’s right at the kitchen entrance near the fridge. Hopefully the owners bring the electricity up to code and make these repairs!
This was a very comfortable house. We stayed together with friends while attending athletic competition, and it was great to be in a rural neighborhood away from the traffic and busyness of town. Kitchen had what we needed. Host was very responsive. Only negative was Wi-Fi was down while we were there. Overall great trip, and would definitely recommend this property.
Contact information on website is incorrect. Had to communicate with 4 people to get access codes for entry and laundry room which was not attached to the house.
Stove had only 2 out of 4 burners that were working. Towel rack in back bathroom was falling off the wall. Areas in living room and dining room still need walls painted.
The house was clean and location was great.
This is the 3rd we have stayed at this property as we love it!

Many problems
No water on one day, had to contact 3 people before I got response. We were instructed on how to go outside and correct the problem.
Kitchen sink backed up into shower.
Dishwasher did not work.
Large earth moving equipment working in back of home and along with noice created a lot of dust.
Could to go outside due to dust from equipment. Worked Friday and all day Saturday starting early.
Dust, floors dirty.
This is a very well maintained property. It is a bit hidden from the road which makes GPS give confusing directions thus is best to arrive with daylight so you can see the sign on the road pointing you to the place. The whole place was clean and there were ample towels and blankets. There were no issues with hot water or the heating system, it al worked fine.
Thank you and I hope to return.
It was a functional home. But we could not use the bathroom with the tub due to ants. Even had ants in our room. But the owner wasn’t aware, and it was probably due to the recent heavy rain. Plus Due to the rain, all the ground around the home was mud so no place for the kids to play. Also the sheets on one of the beds did not stay on due to fit. It’s a deep mattress with not deep pocket sheets.
Lovely location for our large family to stay together in Gilroy
Beautiful setting, especially the paver patio under beautiful, large trees and the lovely rose garden. Enjoyed the convenient and very private location.
There are not enough words to tell you how happy we were with this location. When you drive up the house is not visible but when you get down the drive and the area opens up it's a beautiful oasis. We were lucky and so very grateful to be allowed to hold a wedding on this property. The courtyard is magical. We enjoyed ourselves so much. This home was great for smaller family. We rented both homes and they are both equally well taken care of. Comfortable and homey. The home owner is a wonderful person we enjoyed him and his wife very much. Thank you for the great experience
We had a lovely weekend at this private, quiet property. Prior to checking in, I called James and he was happy to provided me instructions and directions to the property. When we arrived, we found everything clean and spacious, with a number of updates apparently completed recently. The property was ideal for our situation in that our family of 2 adults/2 children stayed in the separately rented main house while our sons’ grandparents stayed in this roomy guest house within walking distance across the courtyard. Throughout the weekend, we enjoyed chatting on the porch in the tranquil setting while our young boys played about the property. During our visit, we went to nearby Gilroy Gardens and the outlet mall and loved it. The whole weekend was wonderful.
