Property was as described and pictures reflected accurately. The house was very clean and was well maintained. It was close to grocery store and restaurants. Only 30 minutes or so from Boone and close to the parkway. A great place to visit and relax on the porch while looking at the beautiful views!

Glade Scents in every room to cover up pronounced personal body odors permeating the interior, in particular the bedrooms. The covers reeked of cologne and the towels and sheets did not appear to be laundered properly and also smelled bad. They need to get rid of the massive mattress pillow topper as it also strongly smells and does nothing to alleviate a blownout mattress. To make matters worse, there were only screens on the front of the windows, so no air flow when temps dropped to 60 degrees and the AC wouldn't run. The owner's slept there the night before. We cut our trip short and left the next morning.Truly, it is a nice, well appointed cabin and clean with exception of the covers, duvets, mattress topper and oh so many Glade deodorizers!

The house was perfect! Clean with everything we needed. The views magnificent! The weather was rainy and cold most of the week but that did not bother us at all. Sat in front of the fireplace and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Enjoyed the firepit when not raining. Would definitely recommend this home and will likely stay here again.

The view was heavenly!!!! Not sure why I had to call property management before ck-in and couldn’t rely solely on emails or texts? I vow this as an unnecessary step. There were no soap bottles in the shower or soap bars. Only one washcloth in the upstairs bathroom and only two in the downstairs. Sorry to say, but there was a faint urine smell in the master bedroom on the right side of the bed facing the wall. Could not figure out where it was coming from. Would have loved to have had a cozy blanket and a working fireplace to enjoy our first night in.

We also apologize for the limited number of washcloths—this is something we’re addressing with our team to ensure adequate supplies for every stay. The odor you mentioned in the bedroom is certainly not acceptable, and we are looking into this with our cleaning team to identify and resolve the source immediately. As for the fireplace and extra blankets, we’re sorry that impacted your first night. Had we heard from you during your stay, we would have gladly worked to address these concerns right away and make your stay more comfortable. Beautiful View and Cozy Cabin

We had a great stay at "A Heavenly View." The view was beautiful, especially from the side porch. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the using the firepit. The host was very responsive and always helpful. We would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: Great cabin with an incredible view and very close to the town center of West Jefferson, which is a very nice NC mountain town that has a lot to offer. Although there are other houses close by, the location is very private. Just FYI, if you are in the downstairs bedroom, you can hear any and all movements from guests in the upstairs bedroom just above. Also, the paved road to the cabin becomes very steep, so bringing a 4 wheel drive car would be a good idea.

Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed our stay and loved the views from the house. We took our two small dogs for a hike at Mount Jefferson State Natural Area and on the Greenway in Boone and visited Blowing Rock. The foliage there was beautiful. We also enjoyed a couple of restaurants in West Jefferson during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant.

Didn’t disappoint

My husband and stayed here for our anniversary. Our experience was phenomenal. The cabin was private yet 5-10 minutes away from the grocery store and downtown west Jefferson. It rained the first 2 1/2 days of our trip and it didn’t matter it was still perfect. The hot tub gave a front row seat to the breathtaking views. This is definitely one of our favorite locations and will return.
