Beautiful Home
We are a senior couple who spent a week in this rental home. The first thing we have to say that when you want to stay here, you should like cats or at least have no objections to them, because the hostess has rescued a large number of cats. They ignored us completely but they take up the whole patio space. It was hot during our vacation therefore we only used the pool area and stayed inside the air conditioned house where the cats didn’t follow. If somebody is alright sharing the space with the cats, then the patio would be fine too.
The roads leading to the property don’t deserve the name. This is a nice residential area and one would expect something better than a dirt track with deep ruts. However, the property itself is charming with a pool in a well kept yard and with a modern home. We liked the layout of the house. The living room, and dining area are open concept with a modern kitchen with granite counter tops, double oven and a gas top range. Of the 3 bedrooms we only used the master. It feels tranquil and relaxing, perfect to wind down. The pool is a treat and just the right space for cooling down, exercising or a little swimming. We used it a lot.
It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach through a quiet neighborhood. At this time of the year it was completely empty on week days and we could have walked for miles without hardly seeing any other person. A couple of mini markets and 2 restaurants are within walking distance. We had stocked up in the big Rey supermercado at the highway which offers a good variety of goods and has a deli and bakery section.
Apart from the cats this is a very nice place to rent.
