My husband and I are originally from Puerto Rico but have lived our lives along the North East Coast of the United States. While we enjoy the seasons, it is always nice to have an escape from the cold and the city life.

With our children grown, we like to travel to places with warmer weather where we can unwind and reset from our full-time jobs and daily responsibilities.

We both love Panama, the people, and all the different things it has to offer. We like hosting here because we like to offer an accessible place for others to share the Panamanian culture, geography, and tranquility.

Step outside and you're surrounded by a peaceful tropical setting, with swaying palm trees, beautifully landscaped gardens, resort-style pools, and the Pacific Ocean just steps away. The beachfront is especially striking, with its distinctive dark sand, wide shoreline, and gorgeous sunsets and moonlit ocean views.

What I enjoy most about the neighborhood is the combination of peace and convenience. Nueva Gorgona feels relaxed and uncrowded, making it easy to slow down and enjoy morning walks on the beach, afternoons by the pool, or a quiet evening on the balcony. At the same time, you're only a short drive from Coronado, where you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, shopping, golf, and other conveniences.

It's a wonderful place to experience a quieter side of Panama's Pacific Coast while still having everything you need nearby. My favorite part is simply being so close to the ocean—you can start your morning surrounded by palm trees and sea breezes and finish the day watching the sky change over the Pacific.

One of the property's biggest advantages is that you can enjoy a relaxing beach vacation without being isolated from Panama's capital. Nueva Gorgona is approximately 80–83 km (about 50 miles) from Panama City and typically around a 1-hour to 1-hour-and-15-minute drive via the Pan-American Highway.

You can spend a day discovering the energy, history, and culture of Panama City. Visit the world-famous Panama Canal, wander through the historic streets, plazas, restaurants, and cafés of Casco Viejo, explore the city's waterfront, enjoy shopping, museums and nightlife, or experience Panama's excellent international dining scene.

Closer to home, you're just a short drive from Coronado, with supermarkets, restaurants, shopping, golf, pharmacies, and other everyday conveniences.
