This was our second time staying here as it is a beautiful place and good sized for 8 people. The rooftop deck is a perfect place to gather for the evenings. The bedrooms were spacious and there is a loft area with a pull out bed that can also be used if you have more people. Nicole was responsive to anything we asked and we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!
Mary's Place was the perfect getaway weekend. From the location, cleanliness of the home, to the amazing amenities including beach chairs, tags, board games, and gorgeous rooftop deck, we didn't want to leave!! Can't wait to book again next summer.
Mary’s Place was clean, well kept, beautifully decorated, and perfect for our family. The communication was excellent. This was a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. Loved spending time on the rooftop deck. Great house, great location!
My daughter and I and two of our friends had a wonderful time staying at this property. The owner was easy to work with and was very responsive. The place is immaculate. Would highly recommend it. Nice neighborhood and a quick walk to the beach and boardwalk.

Make sure you opt-in for the insurance coverage for your stay because the owner submitted a claim for 950 for "property damage" after our stay in August 2025 for old chairs that broke while my 125 pound daughter sat in them at the beach, towels that she never indicated there was an issue with, and a smoke detector that we had to remove the battery from because it was going off every 20 minutes. There was a clogged toilet that her cleaning crew had to deal with and that was another 400 claim item. The location and state of the house was good overall, but the aftermath was too much and we will never stay here again. In addition, the upstairs loft would be suitable for kids to sleep on the pull-out sofa, but not an adult due to the thin mattress. The kitchen was well-equipped with the exception only five forks for your stay.

Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to provide some important context regarding your stay to clarify the circumstances surrounding the insurance claim.
In over 10 years of hosting guests at my home in Seaside, I’ve never had to submit an insurance claim until this visit. Unfortunately, several issues arose during your stay that required attention and documentation:
Beach Chairs: You mentioned leaving four chairs at the beach, but did not inform me of any damage until after checkout.
Toilet: The toilet was functioning properly prior to your arrival. It became clogged during your stay, and a plumber had to address the issue which was included in the claim
Smoke Detector: The smoke detector on the top floor was found removed, and a charred paper towel was discovered near the sink -- suggesting a possible cause for the alarm. Removing safety devices without notifying the host is a serious concern.
Cleanliness: The home was left in poor condition, with soiled towels & blankets (including makeup & blood stains), full trash bins, & failure to follow instructions regarding trash disposal. These issues were documented with photos & chat records to you.
Communication: I attempted to discuss these matters calmly, but the conversation was met with defensiveness & denial of responsibility.
I must emphasize the importance of respecting the property & communicating openly during your stay. Regrettably, based on this experience, I would not be recommend hosting this guest.
Nicole’s home is lovely! Perfect space for our girls weekend trip with the multiple floors and spacious rooms. Nicole was easy to communicate with when we noticed something during check in. Thank you for a wonderful house!

Thank you, Shannon! We look forward to welcoming you back for future stays in Seaside!
The beach house is gorgeous, comfortable and it was well-equipped with everything we needed. The host, Nicole, is friendly, attentive and was quick to respond to all of our needs. Just a few easily walkable blocks from the Boardwalk and convenient to get to all the local restaurants and even other beaches, if desired. We loved it.

Great stay and wonderful owner to work with.
Really great and comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again as owner was wonderful to work with. One thing that could have made it a tad better would have been tv’s in all bedrooms but other than that verything was great!!!
Don’t think twice about renting this beautiful home.
