Screen Porch, Beach Front, Views of the Bay -Beach Therapy

You can’t get any closer to the water than this! Beach Therapy is a spacious gulf front townhome located just past the rock wall on Cape San Blas. It is directly on the beautiful white sand beaches and just steps (and only a few) from the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There are breathtaking views of the Gulf and Bay from every room in the home. The screened deck on the main level is a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. Being just across the street from St Joseph Bay, it is within walking distance to a public kayak ramp which opens up into the head of the Bay. There is a bike path across the street that extends the length of the peninsula. By the way, the unit is perfectly named because one can enjoy both breathtaking sunrises and sunsets!

Floor Plan: Ground level – covered, paved parking. 1st level – gulf front living room with furnished, screened deck, sleeper sofa and TV; kitchen with stackable W/D, dining area and half bath. 2nd level Bedroom 1 – gulf front master bedroom with king bed, TV, open deck and full bath with shower/tub combo; full bath with shower only, Bedroom 2 – duo bunk set, TV and DVD; and Bedroom 3 – bay view bedroom with king bed, TV and small deck facing St. Joseph Bay.

No beach

The townhouse was really nice, up to date, modern, clean, easily accessed, and nicely furnished The place was close to the trading post/ general store, and was literally on the water, probably closer than any other building on CSB. Although the home was great, the beach not so much, apparently Ida which blew through just days before our visit caused property damage to the end units (we were unaffected, the end units not so much) which had the beach access stairs PRIOR to Ida. There was no beach behind the complex at all, even at low tide the water was right up to the retaining wall of the building. We had to access the beach by walking around the front of the building and crossing the dunes. The beach area at the ends of the building at high tide were maybe 30 feet dune to water, 50 feet or so at low tide, the soft white sand was all but gone. If you're coming for the ocean view I give it 5 ⭐, if you're coming for the beach you'd better wait 2-5 years when the beach remediation finally happens. The lack of beach and the beach front pricing affords this stay a generous 3 ⭐ star rating. There are way better beach front units for less or the same price.
