Breathless Bay View!

The condo has recently been renovated as of January 2024. Everything is new and beautiful: flooring, cabinets, furniture, appliances.

Enjoy fabulous sunrises overlooking Lemon Bay via the lanai. Once finished with the morning sun, you can take a dip or swim in the heated pool or the gulf. The gulf beach is a one minute walk from the townhouse style apartment thru a designated walkway. You can also try your hand at fishing on the dock or the beach.

Later, you can head inside and enjoy your splendid sitting area in the family room. Here you can enjoy the views while using the free high speed wireless internet or watching a movie.

The condo comes complete with a master suite that includes a king bed and a large closet. The guest bedroom upstairs has a king size bed. The other guest bedroom has a queen bed with a full bathroom. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living area.

We haven't forgotten those of you who enjoy preparing your own meals for nice dinners in the condo. Enjoy the use of a fully stocked kitchen and relax eating outside in the lanai area. There is also a great outdoor grilling area with several picnic tables right next to the water.

Englewood Beach is conveniently located between Sarasota and Ft. Myers. It is on gorgeous white sand beaches that are full of activities. Shelling, snorkeling, boating, beach combing and kayaking are some of the activities within minutes of your doorstep. The Cape Haze Peninsula is also home to the Tarpon and Snook capital of the world - Boca Grande - which is within a ten minute drive. There are numerous and wonderful eateries, golf courses (seven within 5 minutes) and shopping districts within walking distance or a short drive.

Central air conditioning, as well as pool services, are provided. The townhouse includes a washer and dryer. There are additional laundry facilities on property.

The rental includes the use of one boat slip. The boat slips can accommodate a boat up to 23 feet long.

Amazing Vacation

This property is amazing. It is beautiful and clean. They have put all your needs to mind. The view from the balcony is also incredible. It is also super close to all the restaurants. And just steps to the beach. Great place for families. Will definitely be back!

Location! Location! Location!

We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and clean condo. The location is excellent! We were walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants in this quaint little area. The bay view is beautiful and the balcony was a favorite spot for morning coffee and watching the boats. The beach was never too crowded and is fabulous for hunting shells. We will definitely stay in this unit again. Jennifer, the booking manager, was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Great location, really nice neighborhood close to Beach and fishing, watch the dolphins from the balcony, only complaint was the music at the local establishments was pretty loud with the wind out of the north but the did shut down at 11. Not a big deal for the party animals but those of us, early to bed was a bit annoying! Locals said with a different wind you don’t hear them ! For a exceptional meal Landy’s is a must!

Englewood

El Galeon is a well maintained property. You have the bay on one side where you can fish off the docks and see manatee and dolphins. On the other side you have the Gulf of Mexico where sea turtle nesting grounds abound and the sunsets are gorgeous.

Vacation Stay Comments

The condo (Townhouse B) is in a great location and spacious. Its perfect when you have a boat with the docks at your back door. We have stayed at El Galeon now for 28 years. In the past we have stayed in Townhouse B and rented from the owner. She would clean the unit herself once a year from top to bottom. It was very clean and furnishings were nice. During this stay we can see the aging of the condo. I don't want to be negative because we would like to stay in the condo next year however I do feel that the owners should have someone come in at least once a year and do a deep cleaning. The pots and pans were very sticky from not being cleaned properly. The ac does not seem to be working well. Very hot in the up stairs portion of unit. These are just suggestions. I would rent the unit again.

Check the information sent by your property manager in advance of arrival

Property was very nice. The property manager e-mailed us information for the wrong unit. When we arrived at the door, another family was already there. We tried calling the property manager but she did not answer her phone. After wandering around for an hour asking local residents for help, we finally received a text from the property manager stating that the answers to our questions were in the e-mail she had sent earlier. Not a good start to a long-awaited vacation.

Great Stay

My family and I have been coming to El Galeon for many years. We thoroughly enjoyed this Unit with plenty of room for everyone. The balcony is large, the view is great and our boat was docked right in front of our room. Thanks for another great year!

Great location!

Our family found this to be perfect for our week vacation to Manasota Key. Multiple times we saw pods of dolphins swim by and fishing from the dock was good. The beautiful beach is a two minute walk and good for shelling and shark teeth. Several restaurants are within a short walk, our favorite being the Tiki Bar and Grill. Nice accommodations within the condo with a washer and dryer, dishwasher and full kitchen. All pros and no cons!

Wonderful rental

This was the first time we rented a place. It was everything we had hoped it to be. We saw dolphins, assorted fish and a manatee in the bay from the porch. We walked to restaurants and a few stores. The condo had lots of elbow room. It could use a second shower but we made it work. I wish we could of stayed another week! Thank you for letting us rent this wonderful condo.

Relaxing with beautiful views

Love the area that’s why we came back for the third year in a row. The place needs updated, floors, walls, and some furniture. Cleanliness wasn’t the best, Snacks behind the TV and under bed. Also, it was rented for next year without giving us first rights of refusal. That was disappointing. Even with the above mentioned, we wanted the unit again next year. Love that location!

The place was as pictured and had everything we needed. Was surprised at we could hear the music from the band every night at the White Elephant Bar. Surprised that this is allowedand not against any city ordinance. We could heard the music even with the patio doors closed. This is not the fault of the condo owners.

Awesome view and place!!

We were only able to stay a week, but would have loved to stay the winter! The condo and location were great! The extra rooms made the difference as we traveled with another couple. We loved that we could have a quick walk to the beach or to our favorite restaurants. We have been down in this area many times, but this was by far the place to be! Already planning the next trip!! The view and condo were fantastic! Thanks for the memories!

Wonderful Place to Stay!!

This condo was exactly as described!! Our family of four had an absolutely wonderful vacation at El Galeon. The view of the bay was spectacular....we watched dolphins and birds from the balcony everyday. The beach was just a walk across the street.....very uncrowded. The condo had everything we needed for the week, including towels and kitchen necessities. The beds were all very comfortable. We would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a non-crowded beach/bay experience!
