This two-bedroom condo is located in the resort community of Princeville which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The vaulted ceiling in the living area lends a spacious and airy feel to this nicely appointed condo.

You can take in the gorgeous ocean views from the living area or step out on the private lanai for a closer look. In the evenings, you may want to sit back with a cool, tropical beverage to enjoy spectacular sunsets.

Just a short walk from your door is a swimming pool with a jacuzzi as well as a restaurant right in the complex. Additional restaurants, a shopping center and two world-class golf courses are located nearby in Princeville.

It is a short drive to the charming town of Hanalei with its small shops perfect for browsing and the crescent-shaped beach at famous Hanalei Bay. A variety of eateries offer a wide choice of cuisine.

Excellent condo in Pali Ke Kua. Even though it's at the end of the complex, we really liked the quiet location. Good view and well appointed. We really appreciated having 4 beach chairs and an umbrella. The beach towels were also great. My only (minor) complaint was the lack of sand toys/boogie board/kid beach toys. But, after having had multiple trips to the islands, I get the sense that these items are frequently revolving. Truly, very minor, and did not impact our trip. Thus was one of the better units we've stayed at in Pali Ke Kua!

Our unit was conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. The dramatic view was something we enjoyed each morning, and we took chairs and wine out each evening to the point to watch the sunsets. We walked to Hideaways Beach and navigated the North Shore well from this spot. The unit is very well appointed and comfortable. Not having A/C was never an issue with the natural breeze and fans available. We didn't need A/C. We would def stay here again.

Kauai is always nice to come back too. Princeville is so nice and mellow and has wonderful proximity to Hanalei Bay and points north.Wonderful time together as a family :)

Amazing stay

The view is breath taking. The condo has all you need and more for a comfortable stay in paradise! The binoculars were great for whale and bird watching. The beach chairs and umbrella were another nice thing to have access to.

Great location with beach access

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Getting to the beach from the property is steep downhill to get there but the beach is quiet, very few people and great snorkeling.

Very nice condo and complex in great location. Only complaint was the Wi-fi was very poor so much so that I could not use my devices other than my phone and that was not great.

This condo doesn't have any awnings, or retractable shades on the balcony to protect it from the sun and there is no AC. It got super, super hot inside, not possible to stay in and this was a big disappointment. In the afternoons and evenings we wanted to stay in and just relax from a long hike or swimming, to enjoy the view and relax on the balcony, but it was very hot.

We really appreciated the quiet location of this property. Also loved the sound of the birds and the wind in the tree’s outside the bedrooms window. I think the condo could be updated a bit? Stains on carpet and older towels were not great. But we did appreciate the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards available

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were moved to this unit for our final three nights from our selected unit due to a roofing project. While we appreciated the rental companies accomodation, the view and privacy offered at this unit did not compare favorably with our chosen unit. Also, an upstairs master bedroom didn't bode well for sleeping in the heat, even with multiple fans. All in all the rental company did it's best to make the most of an unfortunate situation.

Whales!

We loved our time here. It was clean and had everything you might need. The binoculars were a nice touch and we were able to see whales! It was only a short walk to watch the most beautiful sunset looking out towards Hanalei! Some of the closets and dresser drawers were hard to open and close but that would not prevent us from staying here again! Mahalo

Queen's Bath was a short walk away. Hanalei and many other attractions near by. Beautiful views and condo. The only suggestion I have for our condo is a washer/dryer upgrade. The washer is super small- we had to do multiple loads to complete laundry. The dryer wouldn't dry completely on a full cycle of high we had to run the dryer a lot. Therefore, the washer/dryer is not efficient and uses a lot of energy/resources. Other than that, the condo was absolutely perfect. We would stay here again!

There was a big stain on carpet...but generally comfortable beds..loved the showers...kitchen stocked well. We had a fabulous time.

Great location, condo alright.

On the plus side; I like staying in this complex due to great location —have stayed in this complex numerous times; Close to Food Land, Hide Away Beach, Pizza Place in complex, Ritz Carlton close by and all my hiking spots. The area is beautiful, grounds very well maintained. ….As to the condo itself, it’s fine but it’s dated, view so/so compared to other units, furniture is old, one paper towel, soap that seems like it’s been there forever, oldish appliances. Condo is ok but could use a little love and capital. Floor plan nice with upstairs /downstairs. I would do it again, we had a great time as we always do when going to Princeville.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice except for a few things. We saw two roaches while staying there. One was in the shower. The other one on one of the dressers in the bedroom. The beds weren’t that comfortable. WiFi was horrible! So when it rained and we tried to make other plans it was not easy to go online. Also the iron in the room had wires exposed when we went to use it. The management addressed the iron issue and wifi the following day.

Great unit; too hot!

We love Princeville and love staying in that area. This condo neighborhood is lovely and well laid-out and landscaped. We loved going to Hideaways pub one night and braved the steep walk down to the small beach. Perfect location for sunsets. The unit itself is very nice. It is spacious, with nice furniture, plenty of beach extras, a large lanai, and comfortable king sized mattress. However, the architectural design of these buildings is very flawed. I know that most places in Kauai don't have AC and when we visited previously, we didn't need it due to the tradewinds. This unit faces the sun all day. There are vaulted ceilings and the only windows are louvered and small and most of them are ground level so it is difficult to get good breezes in the unit. It was extraordinarily hot in the unit. There were a few fans, but no extension cords so you couldn't get the fans where you needed them. We called the rental agency and they provided two fans and two extension cords the next day. My husband was able to rig up an airflow that helped cool the unit down, but it was still fairly warm. So, great unit, helpful agency, but if you like AC, not the place for you.
