The House of Peace & Love is a gorgeous 5000sq ft estate located in the NE Heights of Albuquerque. With an easy 5mile drive to I-25, visit all the hotspots like Old Town, UNM, the Convention Center, Sandia Casino, kirkland airforce base, and tram. The house sits in an established, peaceful neighborhood with a sunny, green backyard. Just 45 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza, and 10 from plenty of resturants and breweries. Come escape in the beautiful South West to celebrate your honeymoon, anniversary, birthday or even host your wedding party. This is the ultimate getaway to relax, renew, and restore.


The house is filled with bright, amazing fabrics, contemporary/folk art and eclectic furniture from around the world. Behind the 12ft wall is your wrap around backyard, complete with water fountains, gardens, hammocks, and a hot tub; all accessable through the common areas and private rooms. Relax in the shade on a hammock, or watch the sunrise over the Sandia Mountains from our 2nd story viewing deck. Enjoy the full indoor kitchen or outdoor kitchen stocked with glassware, china, cloth napkins, serving dishes, and appliances. The house has wifi, gas and wood fireplaces, a pool table, and 3 private backyard cabins/cositas. Washer dryer, off street parking. Should you need anything, manager is available to assist. Close to public tennis, public golf, soccor fields and plenty of hiking/biking/walking trails. There is no smoking on property.

You can park in the driveway or in the driveway or anywhere in the street along the front/side of the house. You will have access to the indoor and outdoor kitchens as well as the common area, all four gardens, and two great rooms. The cositas are each stand-alone buildings, and private.

***Rate is either per room or, with 10 adults or more, per person/night. House can sleep up to 30 guests in their own beds. There is a 2-night minimum stay, however exceptions can be made for one night, special occasion events. Please inquire in a detailed message and we will give you a quote.

Not what we were expecting

We did not stay at this property due to it not being at all what we expected. Not only was the owner staying there she also had an ‘office ‘ in the middle of the house where she was working as a therapist. We did not expect either of these and while we waited for her to get off the phone with a client another lady showed up to stay in another area of the house which we were also not expecting. The house was big but very cluttered with a small refrigerator that we were told we could only use 2 shelves of. There was another refrigerator we could use but it was in another room. We told Mrs. Lopez we could not stay there due to all of the issues. We feel we should receive a full refund and will pursue this through HoneAway.

When I rented to Micheal he wanted to rent the whole house for a family reunion of only five people, I dont rent out the whole house unless there are ten adults or more . I did this so he could have special family time. He said he hadn't seen his children that were coming for over two years. I did not rent to anyone else. I do not have a therapy office in the middle of the house . I only have computers in the house office. Michael came earlier than check in I was on a business call. I have a small casita on the side of the house where I see clients, I do not see them Friday, sat or sundays the days he rented . I took Michael , his wife and daughter on a tour of the property after they checked in, He was upset when he was told I am always on the property. He said he was at fault he had not read this on the site. The house is 5,500 sq feet filled with art. antiques and often used for commercial and TV shoots . It is not cluttered. There are individual small refrigerators in the private rooms he had rented, as well as a large two door refrigerators in the kitchen and in the studio for guests to use as well as five shelves in the walk in pantry.. One refrigerator totally empty for guests, the other offers guests four drawers and two shelves. Michael was informed that there are no refunds day of check in when he expressed his upset that I would be there . He was also informed that if he changed his mind that he was welcome to return. He was apologizing to his wife for not reading the site information when they left.

We felt so Welcome and comfortable

We had 6 adults and 6 children for our stay. Dr Suzanne made us feel so at home. The home is absolutely beautiful and we were able to relax after our long days of racing. The beds are better than mine at home. Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We were able to make wonderful memories with our kids and grand kids.

What an experience!

Dr. Suzanne is an extreme nice and professional woman. This house is all about art and culture. So much to see and experience! If you like meow wolf this is the house of meow wolf where you can stay the night, the back yard at night is magical like stepping into another land of wonder. My fiancé and I will definitely be revisiting and highly advice people to do so. She is present in the house but really she’s a doll and stays in her area. Thank you for the wonderful experience and sharing your lovely home.
