We have stayed at Kris’ property many times and always look forward to our visits! Quiet neighborhood, spotless home, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, unique artwork, close to groceries/restaurants. It’s our favorite place to stay in Albuquerque!
The adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed our brief vacation in ABQ and Kris’ clean and quiet home was a fantastic launching pad for the Petroglyph National Monument, Museum of Natural History & Science, The BioPark Zoo and Explora. The home was art-filled, super cozy and well-stocked with towels and kitchen pantry items. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The Nespresso, luggage racks, and list of local food suggestions (we ate well at The Shop, Farina & Sawmill Market) were greatly appreciated! It was so fun to see snow in ABQ on our last day, too. We’d like to visit again to ride the Sandia Peak Tram and go on more hikes…and when we do return, we hope Kris’ cute home will be available.
This was our second time staying in Nob Hill. The house and host could not be more delightful. The location is perfect for heading in any direction into or out of town. We definitely would like to stay again!
Clean, well-appointed house in quiet walkable neighborhood. Excellent communication with friendly and accommodating owner. Hope to stay here again. Highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed here for three weeks. Kris was an amazing host - check in was smooth and she touched based with us to see if we needed anything refreshed throughout our stay. The neighborhood was great - safe, quiet, family friendly, and a short walk to Central Ave. The house was well decorated and very comfortable with everything we needed to cook meals, comfy beds, solid water pressure, and plenty of hot water. Unlike many other rentals, Kris stocked the house with plenty of soap, detergent, and towels. We enjoyed daily visits from a pair of local road runners. We would 100% choose to stay here again if looking for a place in knob hill.
This was a great place for relaxing in Albuquerque. The location is perfect for us - close to Nob Hill and walkable to the University, not to mention all manner of shops and restaurants and even an independent movie theater and a food coop. Kris made the experience simple. Access was easy, place is very comfortable, clean and welcoming. It couldn’t be better. We’ll be back.
The house was as advertised, in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The linen closet, kitchen, and paper products were well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the central location, as well. Kristin was very responsive when we needed some assistance at check-in.
We have stayed at this property several times and it has our absolute favorite Host & property. Located in a quiet neighborhood close to groceries, variety of restaurants, hiking/biking trails. Comfortable beds, great water pressure for showers, well stocked kitchen, beautifully decorated
We had an amazing stay, our family lives just around the corner so the location is great! The house is very comfortable and the beds were just right. The Nespresso machine was a wonderful bonus!
Wonderful Home in a nice location with a friendly road runner.
My family went to Albuquerque for Thanksgiving to visit all relatives. We felt so blessed to find this perfect home to stay at. The home was clean, well appointed, beautifully decorated and perfect for my family. It is centerally located and easy to travel from.
We were all very comfortable and the house was as advertised…so cute and well taken care of for our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with all our needs. Loved our stay and would definitely come again. Kim
Perfect spot in a perfect family-friendly neighborhood
Everything about the place was well-curated, spotless, stylish and yet simple. The neighborhood is close to transportation, great shopping and restaurants, and we enjoyed seeing neighbors out walking their pets. Kris was lovely to us. We hope to make a return trip to her place.
Our stay was perfect - from booking to check out. Our host thought of everything and connected with us every step of the way! This was the perfect home for our family visit to Albuquerque- for graduation. Check in was easy. Tips for local shopping were so helpful. The house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked so we could make dinner a couple nights. We loved the Nespresso..what a treat! Thank you for a great trip.
This is our absolute fav place to stay! Kris is an excellent host. We’ve stayed several times. Very comfortable beds, great showers, best stocked kitchen, quiet neighborhood close to UNM, lots of restaurants & activities in ABQ to do! Highly recommend!!
This house was perfect for our trip to watch college baseball at UNM. Sun room was ideal for remote work. We grilled several nights and even fed the local roadrunner! Kris was a gracious host and the home had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!
From the minute we walked into this little house we felt at home. It was nicely stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the little roadrunner that visited us when we arrived, and then again on our departure. He was so cute and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Cheers
The house was perfectly clean and is well-appointed with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable; there’s a coffee place on nearby Lomas and in the other direction Central Avenue has eating places and shops. The host is friendly and accommodating. All make for a convenient and pleasant stay. Also, we enjoyed the resident roadrunner!
We have stayed at numerous VRBO's, and this one is definitely our favorite. It is comfortable, cozy and immaculate. The home was thoughtfully well stocked with bathroom and kitchen items. We spent a good deal of time sitting on the back patio, including eating our meals out there. The neighborhood was really nice and very accessible to I40.
Loved this place and plan to book again!

About the host

My name is Kris. I am a New Mexico transplant and have lived in Albuquerque since 2005. The NM landscape and culture has grown on me and I am happily rooted here now! I work in the clinical laboratory field in one of the big hospitals in town. It has been a challenging year or so, to say the least. My children both went to high school and college here, but now live out of state. I am currently living with my significant other not far from the house. I like the idea of having it enjoyed by friends, family and visitors when I am not there. I was a military brat growing up, so I have had the opportunity to travel and live in some beautiful places. To be in one place for this long enabled me to finally commit to buying a home and putting down roots. I love my little house and am happy to share it with people who will hopefully love it, too! Albuquerque and New Mexico both have so much to offer visitors! Enjoy your stay!
Why they chose this property
My home is in a beautiful neighborhood filled with young families, retired professionals and friendly people. It is walking distance to Route 66 (Central Avenue) and many of the galleries, shops and restaurants that line that road. The ART busses (Albuquerque Rapid Transit) have stops close by and will whisk you quickly to Old Town and Uptown.
What makes this property unique
The house at Marquette is close to the Albuquerque International Sunport, Kirtland AFB, two major hospitals, the Nuclear Museum, the University of New Mexico and numerous top-notch breweries. Quick access to both I-25 and I-40.
