Traditional stone house in romatic tuscan villlage (near the sea)

After arrival in Caldana, the wife of the guest informed us, that her husband had an accident shortly before their stay and had to walk on crutches. Of course this is a problem, if you have to walk stairs in and outside the house. She said, that they simply forgot to check, if they could stay there under these extraordinary circumstances. To avoid such problems we made always clear in our description as well as in our photos of the stairway from our parking-site to our house, that our house is not suitable for handicapped people! For any healthy senior the stairs are no problem. We ourselves belong to that group of over 60 and several of our regular guests as well. According to the facilities and the situation of the village Caldana and our house please have a look at the many comments of our other guests. Caldana was choosen as the set for a very successful fictional german TV-Series running for several years. After ten years as normal tourists, we liked it so much, that we decided to buy a house in Caldana. But of course taste is a very individual thing. We already told these guests, that we feel very sorry for the accident and the handicap, which altogether made their holidays less enjoyable as it should have been.

Seit 11 Jahren kümmert sich die gleiche Haushälterin um das Haus, und es gab in der ganzen Zeit keine Beschwerden zur Sauberkeit. Auch die Gäste, die diese Bewertung verfasst haben, schrieben NACH Ankunft im Haus an uns "alles ist wunderbar". Nichtsdestotrotz: In den nächsten Tagen sind wir selbst im Haus und werden die Sauberkeit kontrollieren.
