We had a wonderful stay at Elk Ridge Cottages. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the comforts of home. What really stood out for us was walking in to find a beautifully lit Christmas tree and festive décor throughout the cottage. It was such a warm, thoughtful touch that made our stay feel truly magical. Absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Our host Lisa could not have been more helpful, always responded immediately to any questions. The pictures of the cabin don't do it justice. The cabin was incredibly clean, spacious and well appointed. The view from the deck is amazing. Can't wait to return next year.

Just spectacular!

This property is absolutely as advertised. Very clean and stocked with all we needed. Great town and great hikes in Moses Cone Memorial Park. We will definitely return to Blowing Rock and, when we do, we will stay at the Elkridge Cottages again.

Blowing Rock Getaway

This property was perfectly located to enjoy the mountain scenery and close enough to Blowing Rock and Boone to enjoy all they offer. Panoramic views from its mountain location were breathtaking. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable.

5 Star Stay!

We had a great stay at this property. The views were beautiful and the cabin itself is comfortable, modern and well-stocked! This is one of the cleanest properties we have ever stayed in and the owners clearly thought of every detail. Blowing Rock is only a few minutes away. We hope to stay here again soon.

Amazing Views and Location!!

This was my first time visiting Blowing Rock and this property was amazing!! Awesome location and views for days. Everything was super comfortable, very clean and cozy!! It was perfect for me and my niece. Beautiful property and Lisa was great to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. I definitely will be back.

A Bit of Heaven

The views in every direction are pure heaven—across valleys and mountains. You can work at the kitchen island lost in distant vistas. The porches have gorgeous views and plenty of room for multiple activities from napping to dining to simply watching the light change across the mountains.

Beautiful home with beautiful views

The views are breathtaking and pictures do not do them Justice. The house is beautiful. But if you're not from the mountains and used to driving up really windy roads it can be scary. But overall definitely worth it.

We bought the lot in 2003 and have lived on this same ridge since this time. We loved it so much up here that we wanted to build some other cottages here that we could share with others. There are two new cottages on this ridge.You wake in the morning to the sounds of birds and nature. You feel like you are on the top of the world in this cottage.
