Located in Bucerias Nayarit (It´s a beautiful town approx. 9 miles north of Puerto Vallarta). El Cantón del Viejón is the perfect house for vacationing in the amazing Banderas Bay.
In El Cantón del Viejón you will be able to re-discover your five senses. The delicious aroma of the sea mixed with the diversity of plants offers you an uncomparable pleasure; Listening the sound of a variety of birds mixed with the sound of the waves, gives you the tranquility you look for on a holiday by the sea; Feel the sand in your body and the incredible sensation off the cool and humid air, is a feeling you will love; Enjoy the different tonalities of the sky in the sun set; At night you can witness a full celestial vault of stars. Every day offers different spectacular views and sensations. The multiple combinations of colors in the great variety of plants and flowers is one of the most beautiful gifts that Mexico offers you free of charge!
El Cantón del Viejón it´s only one block from the beach and includes of garage for one cars with automatic doors.
If you enter by the principal door, the first thing that you see it´s a back yard with a big beautiful swimming pool.that´s because the spacious living room and the dining room has big sliding windows. Also you can see the guest house provides you privacy with a room, complete bathroom; A space to enjoy the summing pool doing barbecue without going into the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator stove oven and all the things you need, including a big pantry to store your groceries. It has also a washing machine and dryer.
The first floor also has an office with high speed WIFI. The stairs for the second floor have a beautiful Mexican Cupula above.
The second floor has four bedrooms: one with stained glass windows and en-suite bathroom; Two other bedrooms with balconies and the Main bedroom also with balcony and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and a dressing room. Each bedroom has air-conditioning and ceiling fans help provide a good night of rest, while access to the outdoors is a breeze.
The guest house have air conditioner.
This house includes maid service 3 days per week.

The house was great. Very spacious. Very secure. There was a front gate that automatically locked when you entered or exited. Very clean and it appeared to be well cared for. Granted it is an older home, it has a really nice veranda, pool, indoor space and lots of room for 10 people which is what we wanted. Paulina and Leonardo were very accommodating. Leonardo came each day to clean the pool. Paulina is scheduled to come three days each week, to tidy the washrooms, wash the floors and remove recycle products etc.

Beautiful location and house

Our extended family just enjoyed spending Christmas week at this beautiful house in Bucerias. We loved the location in the small town with a short walk to shops, a quick drive to the supermarket and best of all: one block to a clean and mostly empty beach. The small children loved both the daily beach trips and the backyard pool swims. We loved the beauty and serenity of the house and neighborhood.

Family trip

Great neighborhood away from crowds but still plenty of great food and shopping. The house is beautiful (but it is older). The host responded rapidly to all messages. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the beach down the street every night.

Great Pool and Outdoor Gathering Soae

This house is great for family gatherings. Lots of outdoor space and the pool was maintained daily. The pool is fantastic. The kitchen is adequate. It was great to have a washer and dryer! Beautiful house, great location and it has everything you will need for a great vacation.

The pictures do no justice to the beauty of this house. It was so comfortable for me and my whole family. The pool and barbecue are were so convenient for those days we just wanted to stay in. The kitten is fully equipped for any meal and has plenty of space. The house is less than 5min walk from the beach and 5min drive from groceries. There are many food places and cute coffee shops. Paulina was great help the 3 times a week with cleaning the house. We will definitely come back to this house.

Fiftieth anniversary celebration

My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks at El Canton Del Viejon. Our family, four adults and four children, joined us for a week. The home is wonderfully equipped with very comfortable beds, linens, all dishes and cookware. The living area is beautifully furnished and spacious. My husband and I really appreciated the bedroom and full bath in the pool house, just enough separation from young grandchildren. The swimming pool was great for all of us. The beach is a five-minute walk. When we had a minor problem, it was fixed within several hours. Pilar was available at all times. The area is very central - Sayulita to the north and a splendid botanical garden south of Puerto Vallarta. Many great restaurants are within walking distance. We enjoyed Adriatico and Karin's. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting a family vacation and would stay again ourselves.

Amazing Stay at Casa Bonita Nov 2021

This was a perfect location for multiple generations family reunion. The pool and backyard is as beautiful as in the pictures. The home was spacious and well appointed. The host was attentive to our every need and communicated regularly and easily. Everything we needed was at our fingertip. Extra bonus was Villa Cocoa coffee and pastry shop next door. We will definitely come back to this casa bonita!

Nunca contestaban los mensajes después de hospedarnos el agua caliente no salía rápido y se terminaba igual. Llevaron más gente de la que se tenía en la reservación. La casa la tenían hecha un desastre y si tuvieron gente que hacia la limpieza de la alberca, jardines etc. personas un poco problemáticas. No, los recomendaría como huéspedes.

A Slice of Paradise

Awesome pool! Beach a few steps away!

The house is great. It has lots of space in common areas and the pool is huge. Great for adults and kids. The beach is literally 2 min walking distance, so location is incredible. If you don't have a beach chair, you can rent there. A few worn out details with the house, but nothing alarming or terrible. I will soon be back.

Bucerias June 2019

We had a great time at the property, just as listed and everything we expected. I am glad to of met Pilar and get to know the beautiful home. Plenty of room for the entire family, the pool is great, we spent alot of time in the pool. All bedroom had A/C which is great. Will definitely return to Bucerias. Oh forgot to mention just a block from the beach which is also a plus. Thank you Pilar for sharing the home with me and my family.

Great place!!

Everything is sooo close and convenient to the house. We had a big group and the house was great! Great restaurants half block away. Beach is less than a block away. Pool is cleaned every day!
