The Wombat Studio is a superb property. It by far exceeded our expectations and was perfect for us. The only drawback was we just didn’t stay long enough. Noel and Patsy could not have been nicer! We certainly hope to return in the future.

Fantastic host who couldn't have been more accommodating. The attention to detail was second to none with everything being spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy, the shower was amazing, the basic pantry items were provided. We could not fault this stay and wished we had stayed longer.

this place was so adorable and so fully equipped too bad. We were only there for a quick stay over for an early flight to New Zealand. Patsy was so wonderful and warm. The view from her place was great. And picking us up and bringing us to the airport was a huge plus. Fantastic. !!!!!

Lovely bungalow

Absolutely beautiful property and lovely, cozy studio. Hosts are fantastic! Perfect place to relax, close enough to the city to enjoy all Hobart has to offer but a calm and quiet place to chill after a busy day.

Amazing stay, highly recommend

Thank you so much Patsy for your kind hospitality. Wombat place is a quiet and comfort stay we only wished we could of stayed longer. Breakfast had so many choices and Patsy kindly picked us up from the airport which we deeply appreciated as we flew in at night. Thank you so much Patsy, we very much enjoyed our stay. Excellent host-effective communicator, friendly & welcoming, generous. The Wombat Studio was perfect for what we needed- a stopover before a flight home. As it turned out this accommodation is more - a beautiful location, expansive views to the coast, peaceful surrounds, immaculately clean and so very well equiped and stocked for our stay. Peaceful property, perfectly presented studio

Well thought out accomodation, all necessities provided for a short or long stay. Lovely hosts gave plenty of privacy. Very comfortable bed and very new furnishings make this accomodation a cut above the rest.

The most helpful and wonderful stay!

The studio is the perfect little stay with everything you could need, including a beautiful view! However the best part is the host, Patsy, she went above and beyond in travel advice, offering to get us from the airport and being flexible when our flights changed. I can not recommend her and the wombat studio enough!

A comfy studio with everything you need for relaxing break

Wombat Studio is one of the best studio apartments we have stayed in located in a quiet rural setting with a lovely and helpful host. It had everything we needed for an overnight satay at the end of our holiday but would also be a great base for exploring Hobart/Port Arthur. We would love to come back!

Wonderful host and property

Perfect place to start or finish your tour of Tasmania. Close to the airport, easy to get to Hobart, Richmond and the Coal Valley, etc. Comfortable and well-looked after place with everything you may need. Plenty of space, quiet, and decorated with charm. Patsy is incredibly responsive and kind. Would return for sure.

So pleasant we wished we could stay longer!

We were looking for a quick, convenient stay close to the airport and transfers for our overall holiday, and man, did we hit the jackpot! Patsy and the Wombat Studio were a delightful surprise. Spotless, comfortable and peaceful, we are so disappointed we could only stay one night. Patsy was SO generous with her time and airport transfers, and the breakfast included was perfect for our needs. Definitely adding to the list next time we are in the area, for a long term stay.
