About the home

“Chill Out” is a lovely, pet-friendly townhouse in central Cowes with only a short walk to the beach, shops & restaurants. It is an exceptional family holiday destination that is loaded with appeal, and one that you’ll be keen to return to year after year. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs you will find an open plan kitchen / dining / living area (with TV & DVD player), leading to the outside patio. The master bedroom comes with a walk in robe, and a duel access bathroom (with shower, toilet & vanity). Lastly, a fully-appointed laundry (with washing machine & dryer) finishes this level.

Upstairs contains the other two bedrooms and the main bathroom (with shower, toilet & vanity).

Outdoor Areas

Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a fully enclosed outdoor space opening off the living area. This comfortable area is equipped with a gas BBQ plus outdoor setting. Guests have use of the lockable garden shed for their beach gear/bikes etc., and there is parking for two cars with a single garage and driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has two wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning units, one in the upstairs hallway (that heats both bedrooms) and the other downstairs in the living room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 5 beds accommodating up to 7 guests:

Bedroom 1 (downstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): One King Single bed and one set of Single bunks

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

Great location close to the beach for walking the dog and also walking distance to main shopping/ cafe strip. Accommodation is large as well as compact and has all your needs met. Would go back there again.

Brilliant location
Our stay at this property was fantastic! The location was brilliant, within walking distance to beach and shops. The safe, secure yard provided peace of mind for our dog. Inside, the tidy space boasted cosy couches and a very comfortable bed, ensuring a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for pet-friendly travellers.

Pet Friendly and pet safe with a great location
Super safe for our fur baby and a great location for the humans, easy walk to the beach and main street. Only a few negatives, the DVD player would not work so we couldn't watch any movies and the front sensor lights could not be turned off, and they were obviously being triggered by movement of the strappy plants around the front verandah and they lit up every few minutes for most of the night. We could not find a light switch to turn them off. The same thing happened with the back yard sensor light but we were able to turn that one off. Apart from these minor problems our stay was fantastic and we would recommend this unit to others wanting somewhere safe for themselves and their fur babies.
