We return here as often as life allows - it is a grand residence in the heart of a small bayside town. The house is spectacular, the amenities are amazing, and the check-out process could not be easier. The hosts are always available for any reason whatsoever, and their responses are quick. We love the local shops and restaurants and are repeat customers year after year. Very easy to find some favorites ... I can't imagine how anyone could be disappointed with a stay at 212 Bay Avenue.

Such a beautiful home and location!! Wonderful communication with owner. This was our second year renting and have already booked next year!! Walk across the street to a beautiful beach. Each bedroom has their own bathroom. It doesn’t get better!

We had a great stay! We love Cape Charles and have been there many times. I would say, we had three young kids in our group and this home is not very kid friendly, so keep that in mind! There were many more decor items within arms-reach than you'd typically expect in a rental home. The beds are also very tall (an adult needs a stool to get in and out), so not young-kid friendly. Finally, the home is very old, and the doors do not all stay closed without locking the latch. So while it's a lovely home and a PERFECT location, we likely would not stay here again unless we were kid-free!

Our host was most attentive and checked in once during the weekend. The home is lovely and has all the comforts you could ask for. The views and sunsets from each room are fantastic. Right across the road from the bay. We will definitely be returning.

This house and our stay was amazing! We did not need to worry about bringing anything! The house is beautiful, you feel like you've stepped into history. The amenities unmatched and the owners stayed in contact throughout our stay providing the comfort of knowing that we could reach out if we had any concerns or questions. The town is quaint and just what we were looking for in our girls weekend. I also suggest renting a boat with Poseidon Watersports if that is your thing. But the house itself provided us with so many great memories. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven on earth.

Perfect Home for a Wedding Stay Weekend

The home was beautiful and accommodated our large group just perfectly. There was lots to look at, the furniture and beds were comfortable, and it was just the right walking distance to downtown and the beach! I would definitely rent again!
