Situated in the small beachside community of Cape Charles on Virginia's Eastern Shore, the Majestic Mermaid is a 3000 Sq. Ft. home with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, & two family rooms. Large front porch, 2nd story & 3rd story back decks with views of the Chesapeake Bay and Kings Creek Marina. Paved & fenced-in backyard with gas fire pit, Weber gas grill, and outdoor shower. Media includes WiFi, and flat screen TV's with streaming service. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, water purification system, electronic air purification system, carbon monoxide detectors, & two-sided fireplace. For added convenience, pack and play, high chair, beach toys, and 4 beach chairs are provided. Just steps from private beach & a few blocks to public beach, shopping and restaurants. Home is located in a gated community with security. Also includes access to the Bay Creek community pool. Golf cart friendly town. Ring doorbell camera is installed on front of house for security of the property only, however its offline during rentals. **Hot tub is currently closed **

The house is spacious and conveniently located. The public beach is just a short ride away on the golf cart which we conveniently rented from the owner for an additional fee. Would rent again.

Wonderful place to relax

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful place. Very upscale home and a perfect fit for 3 adults, a teenager and 3 kids. The owners are extremely attentive and helpful with any questions that we had. This was actually my first time renting with VRBO and I could not be happier. We would definitely stay here again.

Really nice home with easy access to the nearby beach. It was nice to have the pool a short drive away. There was one glitch but the owner quickly resolved everything, even on a holiday! Loved the town and the Fourth Festivities!

Overall, the home is very nice. One of the beds listed as a Queen is actually a full, which needs to be corrected. And the home is in need of some quality mattresses and linens. In addition, more complete kitchen supplies are needed.

We started the season off with a complete set of kitchen supplies (pots/pans/pyrex/utensils/waffle maker/blender/2 coffee pots, etc) so if something pertinent was missing, we would love to have known so we could have had the opportunity to accommodate you during your stay. We will review our listing and update the bed sizes if needed. We appreciate your feedback.

Nice Corporate Retreat

Nice place and beautiful neighborhood. Would like to have rented the golf cart which is already at the house but was not aware of that option until we already rented one. I asked for a early check in around 3, was asked for a early check in fee of $100, we ended up getting there 45 min early and killed time in town. Other than these two issues the house was great and communication with the owner was good.

Perfect location for wedding at Oyster Farm

It was in easy walking distance to Oyster Farm wedding venue which was a huge help since we had to be there so much. The jacuzzi bath as a nice bonus.

Great property - great location

First time visiting Cape Charles with extended family. The property really met our needs and we really like the back porch area and hard escaping as well as the available golf cart. There were a few issues with the gas grill and air conditioning unit on third floor but Hervie was very responsive and took care of it immediately. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. We will definitely stay here again next year.

Great family vacation!

Everything was as listed! Excellent location and beautiful sunsets on the beach. Access to the Bay Creek pool and renting the cart from the house super convenient. Great communication and easy check in.
