4 of us stayed for our annual retreat and the whole experience was just great. Communication with the owner was perfect and timely, check-in was simple, and the place was welcoming and comfortable. And the views are breathtaking!!!We were there in the dead of winter, so no kayaking or canoeing for us, but I would love to come back during paddling season.
We had a great stay! It was the perfect place for our girls weekend! The house was so nice and fit all of us perfectly! The views were amazing and Regina was a great host and easy to reach out to. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Would definitely think about coming back here!
We enjoyed our stay 100%. The house was just right for our family of 7 - comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. We loved being on the pond and we will hopefully return. The host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the home.
We booked for a long weekend to celebrate my nieces’ birthdays and to facilitate a family beach outing and had the perfect time. Gorgeous home, ideal location, and communicative host.
We enjoyed our weekend! The house is quite spacious with multiple outdoor venues and comfortable bedrooms. There is a spectacular master suite with soaking tub. The other bedrooms are smaller. Well kept, friendly and helpful owner (we did not have any direct contact with the management co.) Would come again, highly recommend!
This was a wonderful place for us to gather ( 3 generations ranging from 19 to don’t ask 😉). There were so many nearby places for birding and hiking. We loved visiting the trolls @ Ninigret Park and the Umbrella Factory with the bamboo forest and animals was a pleasant surprise. Sunset next to the water was breathtaking and the swans and kingfishers in early morning so peaceful. We could spread out for puzzles and games and enjoyed the kayak. It was everything and more than we hoped for.
My family has a small house with beach access nearby, so we come to Charlestown every summer and are always looking for other places for the rest of our sprawling family to stay. We had never tried a place on the salt pond before and this may be our new fave. Beautifully laid out, with lots of space and fantastic views. The road in is a little bumpy but that's the only criticism I can think of. A beautiful home!

Beautiful home on the water and owner was very responsive!
This home was beautiful and worked well for a group of 3 couples. It was easy to get to Newport and to Watch Hill/Westerly. The views of being directly on the water were beautiful. The owner was extremely responsive to emails and questions- and left chocolate, travel size shampoo, extra toothbrushes, coffee, etc to make it extra cozy. The kitchen was well equipped for basic cooking with all essentials. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!
Had a wonderful weekend celebrating the wife's birthday. Property was amazing and owner was a pleasure to deal with. The views of Green Hill Pond from the deck were amazing. The kitchen is a bit wonky in my option but it works. The Primary bedroom is stunning. The other bedrooms work. Our 5 quests were all comfortable. This is the first rental I had to make my bed, but small price to pay. Only other criticism I can think of is that this, and most of the rentals I have stayed, needs a good deep cleaning. That being said I would book again in a heartbeat. The house was beautiful and worked well for a group of 5.
The house was just as listing presented. Plenary of room for 5 adults and 2 children and an infant. Nice big table for eating and playing games. Kayaking was a highlight as well as catching crabs off the dock. The yard was plenty big enough for running sports- ladder ball football and corn hole. The beach is close and was not expensive. Went to Matunuck oyster house and many trips to vanilla bean and tropic frost. The sunsets fantastic as well as the moon rising. Will definitely return. The contact for the house was on top of any special needs that arose. Thank you Regina!
Property was amazing and very well maintained. Property owner was a pleasure to deal with.
The only issue was that a company named "Evolved" is involved in the middle of VRBO and the property owner. They charged a $66 damage protection deposit. There was no damage to the property but they refused to refund the deposit stating its their policy not to refund that money!! I have booked thru VRBO before and in case there is no damage, that money gets refunded. Not happy about this at all and will be looking for other platforms to book my stay in the future.

Hi Manu, thanks for the 5-star review! We appreciate your feedback regarding Evolve's damage protection policy. Our experts have found that a damage protection policy is more convenient and less expensive for our guests than a traditional deposit payment. Your initial cost to book is much lower, and there is no need to worry about how to handle accidental damages after your stay.
Thanks again for taking the time to leave a review.

Family vacation 2025
This is our 3rd summer renting this property for 2 weeks. It’s a beautiful spot on the green hill pond with a big yard for fun and games. There’s a dock for your use along with double and single kayaks which all had fun with. The kids (and adults) enjoyed crabbing to see who could catch the biggest one! Then of course they were all released back in the pond to come back for more. We enjoyed Charlestown breach-way and Charlestown town beach along with east Matunuck beach - all a very close drive. The kitchen was used daily for dinner and snacks along with a place for game time. We had breakfast once at the hungry haven and snuck in for some obligatory shopping at simple pleasures. We also were regulars at jitters cafe for coffee and as well as corner deli for delectable sandwich’s. We did get out a few nights for dinner at Jim’s dock, dinner and karaoke at the cove and lunch at ocean mist with the yummiest Bloody Mary and fish tacos that were scrumptious. Did I mention we collected rocks from moonstone beach and did rock painting? Umbrella factory was of course a destination as well as the trolls hunt at Ninigret park. Mini super is always a go to for groceries as well as Belmont market in Wakefield. A destination grocery store! We took rides to Narragansett and watch hill. But most of all enjoyed staying put at this home away from home. The host Regina is one of the best. Come stay here for a week or a month. You’ll have no regrets. P.S. do not miss vanilla bean for ice cream! We did add a few lbs but well worth it❤️
Excellent responsive owner, location, condition of house.
For the price paid in our opnion, all linens should have been provided, the grill should have been cleaned and should have had a proper full tank of gas and the charges for damages payments upfront should be refunded if no damages are found and especially VRBO's heavy fee should be significantly reduced. The overall rental cost on a per day basis was higher than 5 star hotel in RI or on the Cape and one would be willing tot pay that given the very responsive owner & location if it weren't for the issues mentioned. VRBO should issue some credit back to me
We hosted a family reunion at our nearby home and used this property for "spillover" lodging. The location, property, and service were all amazing and all our guest were ecstatic with everything about their lodging - the view, the comfort, the cleanliness. And the owner quickly fixed a major hiccup (my error) on the day prior to check-in! I highly recommend this property.
A girls getaway to take a break from the world. Such an incredible space. Thankful to Regina for being so flexible with our trip. The winter weather was coming and we were quickly accommodated. Thank you.
This was a very nice home in excellent condition and well equipped. The views of Green Hill Pond were extraordinary. With better weather, we would have enjoyed the available canoe and kayaks!

GREAT HOUSE - BEAUTIFUL POND VIEWS
We really enjoyed our stay here this past weekend! We were in town for a wedding, so it was perfect for our whole family. The house is unique and has spectacular pond views from almost every room. We found the house very clean when we arrived and appreciated the extra essentials like paper towels, TP, shampoo etc.
We loved the 2nd floor family room, the multiple decks, the screened porch by the master bedroom and the widow's walk that had the best views!
Kayaks are a great addition to explore the pond by water!
My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
Lovely house, beautiful location & very responsive property management contact! The spot on Greenhill pond was magnificent and the kayaks were a real plus. We had a fabulous time.
