Cozy Lakeside Homestead

Nature's Playground- Social Distance Naturally on a 44-acre lake provides a warm water fishery for largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and northern pike. Trout are also stocked once in February and bi-weekly March through May. Night fishing allowed.

The house sits right off the Public Access giving a short walking distance to the lake.

The house is equipped with internet and a television. It also has a kitchen and a dining room. One room has a double/full size bed, another bedroom has a twin bed and in the main room there's a queen bed. The bathroom has a working shower and toilet. The sun room has fireplace capable of burning logs, sauna & plenty of room for guest. The hot tub open year around. You'll enjoy your odyssey here for sure.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Ensure garbage (even dog droppings) are in a garbage bag and not loose in the garbage can in the little bags. Turn off AC or heat. Turn OFF hot tub. Lock all doors and windows.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Ensure Pets are listed on the registration. If you are bringing a pet, please advise the Host.
Pets: please don’t allow pets on beds or furniture. Two doggie beds are provided along with pet dishes.
Fireplace: open damper prior to burning wood and close damper once fire is out. Outdoor fire pit : please attend at all times.

Our stay wasn't long enough to fully enjoy all of amenities available. Sadly there were technical issues with the hot tub that we weren't there long enough to address but overall such a great rental; the place was spotless and the host was very responsive and attentive. My wife and I are excited and hopeful to stay there again soon!

The best cabin and experience we ever had as a family in WV. This place had everything we were looking for, and beyond!Paula's cabin is a perfect retreat for relaxation and fun! Pristine clean, close to the lake, with amazing amenities for all the family and your pet. We appreciate all the amenities (whirpool, sauna, indor and outdoor fire places, games, kayaks, etc) the beautiful nature (very close to the lake), night star gazing, birth watching. We felt very fortunate to have found this place to celebrate my husband's birthday. The place transmits the care Paula put together in all the details, thank you!

Very nice clean, eclectic place with great amenities. Paula is a great host, tentative when we had questions. It was cold and windy by the lake, but there was plenty to do inside (games, sauna, TV, etc.) on a snowy winter day. Enjoyed having a fire in fireplace in the sunroom watching outside nature. We hope to return to enjoy all that is offered when it's warmer.

This property has a lot to offer. Fishing poles and fishing gear are available for all ages. A charcoal grill and a fire pit is provided for outdoor grilling and cooking alike. Hot tub for relaxing a evening under the beautiful night sky, free of light pollution. Being in the middle of nature gives you a peace of mind, listening to the birds sing and enjoying the wonderful view. Indoor infrared sauna to detox and remove stress. Two kayaks are available upon request with life jackets.
