Great place and stay

We had a great stay at the house, it was as promised online, it was clean on arrival and communication and check-in was easy. The pool was great. It is a bit of a drive from central Ft Myers and the beaches, especially in traffic, but the neighbourhood is great and quiet. We highly recommend the place.

Joyful stay

The house is located in very nice, well take care of neighborhood. The kitchen was stuffed with everything, all necessaries utensils, mugs, plates ect. The house provided clean linens, towers and confutable beds. Overall the house emphasize a feeling of warmness, positive and cute environment.

Peaceful Paradise

This house was the perfect choice for two seniors from Ohio. We took morning walks, saw burrowing owls, swam in the heated pool and visited the library. Our location made it easy to eat out, buy groceries and to sight see. Would love to return.

Nice home, just a little dated

What we liked about our stay: great neighborhood, owner was very responsive and great to talk to, self check-in, garden and canal front view, home is well equipped with kitchenware, bicycles and beach accessories What we did not like so much: most bikes had flat tires and loose screws, place is a bit dated with torn screens, cracks in the pool curb etc., dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinet, light musty smell upon entry

A Perfect fit! Just what we hoped for!

Overall the house and property were great! The neighborhood is quiet and everything we needed was within a few minute drive. We read reviews that said the house needed updating so we were pleasantly surprised to see the owner has started on this already. (Smart TV’s have been installed so streaming is they way to go if you want a good variety) The furnishings that are dated are all functional so it didn’t really matter to us how they looked. The weather during our stay was cooler than normal and the pool loses afternoon sun so the pool heater was unable to keep up and we were unable to swim. Despite this quirk it was nice to have the lanai. We also enjoyed fishing from and relaxing on the dock in late afternoon and morning. The extra amenities such as pool towels, beach equipment, fishing poles, bicycles, were an added bonus. We loved seeing the burrowing owls on the property. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and eating equipment and a nice size pantry provides a storage area for your own food.The master bedroom is large with a large bathroom but there is little space to store personal belongings in the bedroom. As a result, since there were only two of us, we moved to the second bedroom and used the “kiddie” room to store and hang our clothes. There was plenty of space in each of these rooms. We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!!

We have always enjoyed the Cape Coral area and the location of this home was ideal. The lanai/pool area is nice but the rest of the home was a dated. Upon arrival we spent a fair amount of time cleaning the home as well. An unfortunate issue while renting this home was days after booking our daughter became engaged and we contacted the property to cancel. We were told that this property was not eligible for cancellation with any refund even though my request came 48 hours after I booked it. I'm not sure if this is still the case but I had never encountered a policy like this with any other rentals. There were a few minor issues during our rental and the owners were very kind and prompt with resolving them. They also sent us a gift basket for Valentines Day which was very thoughtful. All and all we had a nice stay and again the owners were very pleasant to work with.

The house was clean and comfortable. No complaints from any of our family members. The pool was great. Big enough for 7 people and heated to 85 degrees. There were fishing poles and bicycles we used regularly and the lighted dock/area was amazing. I think we almost wore the grass out going back and forth from the pool. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Weather was a bit cold at night our first few days there (in the upper 40s at dawn) and the warm pool was a kid favorite. The owners were very attentive and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. :)

Great Family House

We stayed with our 2yo and 5yo children to have a socially distant visit with our parents that live in the area. This was a great place to stay. There were bikes available for all of us, sand toys and supplies for going to the beach, and an on sight pool. We enjoyed our stay and the owners/management were great.

Unrealistic expectations

The property was well designed and comfortably furnished but, unfortunately, my standards for cutlery, linens, towels, bedding, exceeded what was available. The pool maintenance did not include cleaning the surrounds though regular weekly visits were consistent with arrangement. However, the owner was always accessible and most courteous to resolve any emergency.

Wonderful Waterfront Retreat

We stayed just over a week in this wonderful home in Cape Coral right on the canal. Upon arrival we were greeted by a thoughtful welcome basket on the table full of nice surprises! Our kids absolutely loved the heated swimming pool that was clean and well maintained. The house was conveniently located near shopping and not too far from plenty of beaches and islands, which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need for cooking or food prep and the use of the gas drill was amazing for enjoying those warm Florida days outside. There were plenty of nice and clean linens and towels as well as a washer and dryer for convenience. The master bedroom with attached bathroom with a nice big jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and a private door out to the screened lanai pool area was a real treat. The neighborhood was safe and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the little ducklings swimming around and the big fish jumping and splashing in the canal in the warm evenings. Renting this home was an easy process and all of our interactions with Tom (over email) were very pleasant. His responses were very quick and all our questions were answered in a timely manner. He excelled in customer service and went above and beyond to make our stay as nice and enjoyable as possible. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay in this home and would highly recommend it to anyone longing for a wonderful waterfront retreat getaway. We would also definitely rent this home again if we were back in the area!
