Located in Merchiston, the apartment is a 5-10-minute walk from the lively main streets of Bruntsfield and Morningside with their many restaurants, cafes and boutique shops.
There are several bus stops within a few minutes’ walk of the property with a regular service to all areas of the city. The city centre, Princess Street and popular Grassmarket are a 15 minute journey.
A pleasant walk into the city via the popular Meadows park takes around 30 minutes with views of Edinburgh Castle & Arthur's Seat en-route. Alternatively, a quiet 30-minute walk along the Union Canal (well used by walkers, runners & cyclists) will bring you out nearby busy Lothian Road (on the way to city centre) with a wide range of bars, restaurants & shops.
The apartment is located in well maintained private grounds and pass for free parking on the grounds is available on request. The property is on the first floor of the building which is fitted with security access door, security cameras and an elevator and access ramp for prams or wheelchairs.
The property is newly decorated, with modern and up to date fixtures and fittings including USB charging points in every room. It is equipped with the everyday appliances that you’d expect in a family home; washing machine, tumble drier, TV’s in each room and high speed WiFi.
The bedrooms are bright and spacious with comfortable double beds and ample storage space. Blackout blinds are fitted in every room so you won’t be disturbed if you want a lay-in or afternoon nap.
The large master bedroom has an en-suite shower & toilet. The second bedroom is used as a child’s room and has two adult size single beds.
The large living room provides an excellent place to relax with reclining leather sofas, 55-inch satellite TV, Netflix and surround sound system.
The modern kitchen provides all the essential equipment that you’d need for preparing any meal. The cupboards and fridge are stocked with the essentials which you’re free to use during your visit. Our Jura coffee machine provides coffee of all styles using freshly ground beans at the touch of a button.
A well-stocked convenience store is 5 minutes’ walk away and the local Tesco store is around 7 minutes’ walk if you want to stock up with food for the week.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole property. One room is occupied by a foreign exchange student who will assist with checking in & out of the property and help with operation of any of the household items and point you in the direct of the bus stops and local points of interest.

Please note we don’t charge additional fees for cleaning or linen. What you see is what you pay but we do request that you leave the property clean and tidy as you will find it when you arrive.
