It was in a very safe area of uptown New Orleans, close to Magazine Street. Three blocks to a grocery and a CVS. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with up-to-date fixtures and shower.
Excellent place, very clean, great location. Thank you very much.

So sorry about any dog noise, but the residents of the area do have dogs. I was also unaware of any communication that was needed. I didn’t see anything in the messages - sorry if I missed something that was there or needed.
Apt was in very good condition except for the pots & pans.Owner never provided a phone number to contact if there was an issue. We did have one with the door lock & although a msg was sent reply was not timely.Location was very good.
You can’t beat the location! Walk to many shops, bars & restaurants on Magazine Street. A quick bus, streetcar or Uber to the Quarter. Definitely go to the Boulangerie.
Great place to stay, was super convenient for what we were in town for. Slight issue when checking in didn’t get the code to get in, but owner was super responsive and got it to me. Would highly recommend and would stay again!
Perfect location and property for everything we had planned during our stay! Owner was prompt with communication and details. I would 100% stay here again.
Great location in a charming neighborhood! Walkable to Magazine Street for great shops and restaurants. Close to bus route, street car or a quick Uber to the Quarter. Clean, tastefully decorated & great hosts.
Our stay was ok. The house is located two blocks from magazine street and a bus line which made it wasy going along magazine street. But be mindful of what else you want to do as uber fares are expensive if you need to go beyond the garden district area. The unit itself was ok, clean, and enoigh room for two people. Only complaint is the matress is quite soft and a bit of a canoe had formed and was very uncomfortable by day 4 to sleep on. The pillows were also very flat and my neck ached by the end of that stay. The sofa also sags quite a bit so i mostly sat in the single chair for better support. If you need quiet while sleeping, the hvac is very loud and we didnt know there were people upstairs but discibered on the first night when there were loud footsteps upstairs which continued each day. It would be helpful to disclose that there are peiple upstairs and loud hvac as those can really disturb sleep and make for restless nights. For those reasons, 3/5 overall.
Comfy bed, comfy couch. Good hot shower. Great and convenient location near transit and food. My only qualm was the lack of very basic cleaning supplies, especially in the kitchen: no dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher, no dish soap (except in an old, broken wand-dispenser/sponge), and no paper towels. It felt a bit like a “set it and forget it” situation, where the owners haven’t checked on the rental for a bit. Probably not a big deal for most guests; I probably used the kitchen more than the average person would. Also advertised as having laundry, but that doesn’t do much good without detergent. Another forgotten element that I’ve never seen overlooked by a host before. Was just expecting a bit more to make those advertised amenities fully functional. Otherwise a lovely spot.
We really enjoyed the high ceilings, and beautiful shower. However, the only thing that I saw that was needed was there wasn’t enough liquid soap in the bathroom. What little was there in the bottle was watered-down. I did not contact the owner on this, but I did grab some more while at the store. This house was a great location to Magazine and very close to where my son lives. This made it very easy on us. We will definitely stay again.
The property is just as described. Very comfortable, quaint, and well appointed. The Owners were prompt in communication. Enjoyed the swing out front. Walking distance to great restaurants and local groceries. Highly recommend and would stay again in the future.
