Great place to stay, was super convenient for what we were in town for. Slight issue when checking in didn’t get the code to get in, but owner was super responsive and got it to me. Would highly recommend and would stay again!
Perfect location and property for everything we had planned during our stay! Owner was prompt with communication and details. I would 100% stay here again.
Great location in a charming neighborhood! Walkable to Magazine Street for great shops and restaurants. Close to bus route, street car or a quick Uber to the Quarter. Clean, tastefully decorated & great hosts.
You can’t beat the location! Walk to many shops, bars & restaurants on Magazine Street. A quick bus, streetcar or Uber to the Quarter. Definitely go to the Boulangerie.
We really enjoyed the high ceilings, and beautiful shower. However, the only thing that I saw that was needed was there wasn’t enough liquid soap in the bathroom. What little was there in the bottle was watered-down. I did not contact the owner on this, but I did grab some more while at the store. This house was a great location to Magazine and very close to where my son lives. This made it very easy on us. We will definitely stay again.
The property is just as described. Very comfortable, quaint, and well appointed. The Owners were prompt in communication. Enjoyed the swing out front. Walking distance to great restaurants and local groceries. Highly recommend and would stay again in the future.
This space is in a quiet residential location and within an easy walk to the trolley as well as great neighborhood restaurants. Updated, clean, and a perfect size for travelling couple. Host was awesome; friendly, communicative and accommodating. Would stay again!
My adult daughter and I had a great time visiting NOLA. This home is exactly as described and safe. Very relaxing spot to return to after site seeing all day. Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect & quiet location in Uptown. Apt was exactly as expected. Very walkable to restaurants/shops and easy street parking for the rental car. Would definately stay here again.
Great location! The house is in a safe walking distance of tons of shops and restaurants. Only a 10-15 minute drive into downtown/casino/Convention Center area with traffic. The house is lovely, bed is comfy, and plenty of things needed for a few days away. If you're a tv-on-at-night sleeper, just bring your tablet or laptop and you're good to go :)
We came for a couple days of Mardi Gras parades and this was a perfect location. We walked a couple blocks to the parade route, as well as to Magazine St. for dinner. Even walked to the French Quarter one day (2-ish miles). Host was responsive and place was attractively decorated.
House was nice and cozy. Had a good stay but we were awakened by the dog barking and it barked all morning from 6am until we left at 11am. Could use a few more cooking utensils/pans, and the chair needs cleaned. Overall a nice place for a getaway and as long as the dog is gone I’d stay here again. Close enough to walk to the trolley and in a safe enough area.
This was my first time in New Orleans. Enjoyed everything. For activities I highly recommend a swamp tour, Jazz/Dinner River Cruise on the Mississippi River. We did the cruise without the dinner and drinks since we don’t drink that much. We ate dinner before we got on the boat. It’s much cheaper this way. We purchased through Groupon and saved even more money. Use the Trolley to go to the French Quarter (Bourbon St). Parking is limited, and expensive., plus traffic is heavy down there especially on holidays and weekends. Do the Jazzy Pass on the trolley. It will cost you $3.00 for 24 hrs. You can use the RTA bus and trolley with this pass. You can get off and on the trolley at any time and do your own sight seeing trip. The guided tours using the double decker red bus is much more expensive than using the $3.00 a day trolley train. Food is pricey in New Orleans.
Very clean, convenient location and in a quiet neighborhood. We were able to park on the street in front of the home with no problems. Property manager was available if needed and was helpful with suggestions of were to eat.
This was a great place for two in New Orleans. It was one of the best rentals. We weren’t too far from Magazine Street. It was a very safe location. I loved the neighborhood.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Unfriendly and unhelpful host
I have stayed in many, many VRBO’s and I have never met. A host who was so unhelpful amd unwelcoming. I never got an orientation to the property, she never made herself available for answering questions like where to shop for food or how to use the streetcar or even where to put the trash. The woman lives right next door so it’s not like it would have been much effort to come over and see if I needed anything. The space itself is fine. It is VERY small but everything is in working order and you have what you would need for a short stay.
