Lovely beach house situated in a really beautiful and quiet neighborhood, very close walking distance to downtown Manzanita and the beach! We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the scenery. This home is tucked into a wooded neighborhood full of lovely gardens but also so close to the beach which felt like the best of both worlds!

The house has very comfortable feel to it and we loved the funky vibe. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which is hard to come by in other rentals I've stayed at.

The accommodations included a nice set of pans and kitchen gadgets (crock pot, blender, manual juicer). Which is a plus for me since I enjoy cooking what we catch. Also, the master bedroom is very quiet and comfortable.

Such a cute cabin! Waking distance to the beachfont and other downtown spots. We loved the living room and kitchen's retro design. Amazing price. My only critique is the cabin gets pretty hot during the day, so a ceiling fan would be a nice addition. Also having some coffee to use in the coffee maker would be a nice touch.

Thank you for sharing that you enjoyed about the cabin’s design, convenient location, and that the price felt right. We appreciate your suggestions about keeping the cabin cooler during the day and providing coffee, and will share them with our team as we consider ways to improve the home.

This cozy house met all of my beach vacation needs! I like to cook a lot of my meals, and the kitchen was well stocked with pans and spices! The bed was firm and comfortable, and I slept like babies. The neighborhood was quiet, and I felt safe during my visit. Downtown shops and the beach are within a short walk. My friends came for an evening visit, and we had a wonderful time playing cards. There was plenty of room for us to be comfortable. I had a perfect stay at this house!

Loved Manzanita, and this house is nestled into a hillside with trees surrounding, and a lovely deck to relax on. We loved the huge windows and sliding glass doors leading to the deck. Our visit was during an unusually warm spell for the area, so it did get a little warm inside with no AC, but with windows open and fans, the evenings were comfortable. I'm not a huge beach person, but I love coastlines where there are mountains and woods nearby to explore to in between beach walks, and Manzanita was perfect for that. The hike to the peak of Mt. Neahkahnie was challenging for a 50-something who hasn't been keeping up with is cardio, but was totally worth it! Map your route before you go as we had a bit of trouble finding the south trailhead, and the trail that led to the peak!

Thank you for the thoughtful review. I'm so glad the home's setting, deck, and picture windows added to your enjoyment of Manzanita. I'm happy the fans and open windows helped in the evenings during the warm spell. The home does not have air conditioning, and on rare warm periods the interior can warm up—opening multiple windows, running fans, and keeping shades closed during the hottest part of the day can help. We’ll also evaluate additional cooling options for future stays. We hope you'll consider staying with us again!
