This beautiful home has many recent updates. Your feet can be in the sand in minutes. Short Sands is just a 5-minute walk from the front door, and Long Sands is right around the corner. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and sleeps 8 people. The lower-level bedroom has bunk beds and a pull out couch that can double as a second living space for the kids, allowing kids and adults to relax in their own space if needed. There is a huge deck in the backyard for meals and evening family fun. The entire home has been painted, both bathrooms have been fully remodeled, and there are new floors throughout. The kitchen has been redone with new appliances. The home comes fully prepared with everything a family needs for a day at the beach. The house is stocked with plenty of beach chairs, wagons, coolers, and beach umbrellas. Come relax and enjoy all that York Beach has to offer.

Guests will get plenty of sun and surf while exploring the two-mile stretch of Long Sands Beach and visiting the Goldenrod Candy Shop at the Boardwalk of Short Sands Beach. They can also visit the York Wild Kingdom for a carnival ride or take photos of the Nubble Light.

Great house with everything you could possibly need and more than enough space for 3 adults, a baby and a dog. It's in a great neighborhood and very walkable. The host, Andrew, was very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend this house if you're planning a trip to York beach.

Loved the place, easy walk to both Short Sand and Long Sand Beach. Fantastic sunrises each morning. Great friendly neighborhood for adults, kids and dog, who made more friends than we did! Was my first adventure with Vrbo, so was surprised that certain amenities were not provided. I now am aware to read and learn a bit more before travel, especially the night before a holiday!

What a great location! The property is within walking distance of Short and Long Sands beaches, which we walked daily and are so dog friendly. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. House is very cozy and clean. Comfortable living room furniture, handy deck, and all of the appliances work really well. We had a lovely time.

We couldn’t have asked for more; this home was decorated with great taste making the experience more than pleasant. It has it all and comfort & safety were perfect. Pls remember to bring your own towels towels (we forgot!). We will be back for this one100%. Owners are so nice too!

Great house for beach visit

This is a very nice house in a great location! It is an easy walk to Short Sand Beach in one direction, and slightly longer to Long Sand Beach in the other. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is small, but had everything we needed. The deck, right outside the dining area, was a great spot for morning coffee, and lunch. The neighborhood is a mix of rental properties and year round residences, very quiet, and the several neighbors we talked to were friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back.

Pleasant family accomodation

Comfortable home with plenty of space for adults and children to relax. Great location for enjoying the beach, walks and other nearby attractions. A few unfortunate power issues (light switches doing nothing, the trip with our hairdryer) were somewhat troublesome but the host helped out to resolve the faults we highlighted. For guests travelling from outside the US like us, it would be helpful if the host would consider providing bath towels as we have found that is most often the case in North American holiday rental properties.

Wonderful York Beach Vacation!

Location: Awesome! Short walk to Short Sands beach and all of the shops and restaurants. Walking distance to Dunnes Ice Cream(.8 mile), Nubble Lighthouse just beyond that. Walking distance to Long Sands Beach(~.5 mile). House: Very nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with many extras! Washer/dryer, dishwasher, Beach cart, beach chairs, gas grill, propane cooker, large pots, boogie boards, two adult bikes, two kids bikes, one large cooler on wheels, a hand held smaller cooler, Wii console with games, and some yard games. Bedrooms are as described in listing. We had 5 adults, 3 kids(ages 11, 14, 17) and one infant. The back deck has a large patio table with umbrella with an awesome breeze most of the time. The coffee pot is large with a basket that holds coffee filters. Plenty of pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. I would recommend bringing storage containers for left over food from cooking. There are large bowls and platters that came in very handy! As with most rentals, you should plan to bring items like toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry soap, trash bags, etc. I typically bring what I think we’ll use and leave anything left over for the next guest! Owner: Andrew was great to work with! He responded quickly to all of my questions and in great detail. I highly recommend this vacation rental and hope to be back soon!
