★ Newly renovated Aug 2025! North Hyde Park retreat with fresh furniture and décor. This centrally located modern house has a large, fully fenced backyard with patio / BBQ and fully stacked kitchen and luxurious linens / mattress - Tempur-Pedic like KING bed and 2 Queen beds. There are also plenty of parking space for up to 3 cars.

★ Only a few mins drive to South Hyde Park - one of the hottest nightlife areas in Tampa. 10 mins to Airport, Ybor, and Downtown Tampa *Gym and Heated Pools less then 5 min drive at JCC Health center. High Speed Verizon / Frontier 1G Internet Service.

★ Please kindly note there is absolutely no pets or parties allowed. Any large social gatherings or parties will be removed from the premise immediately and termination of this agreement. This would be STRICTLY enforced. 7 people is the max capacity including children and infants.

★ Starter supplies of toiletries and kitchen supplies are provided, along with toothpaste in case you forget yours! However, if you are here for a longer stay, you will likely need to make a short trip to the grocery to replenish some things, like paper products.

★ Outside, your family can stretch their legs as you fire up the provided charcoal grill. PLEASE be aware there is additional 20 fees for BBQ Grill and Utensils usage. Let us know ahead of time so we can move it from storage.

★ Sounds: The house is conveniently located just a few miles from the interstate and in close proximity to major attractions. Please be aware there is light ambient traffic noise outside the house. If you or your guests are very sensitive to noise or prefer an exceptionally quiet setting, you may want to consider exploring accommodations situated farther away from Downtown Tampa.

★ For your safety and the safety of the property this location has security cameras installed in outdoor entrance, backyard, and garage.

Clean, comfortable and close to U of Tampa

We had a quick 3 day stay to explore the area and visit U Tampa. This was a very clean and comfortable property, just minutes from the airport...but not too close. Really great stay.

Perfect Vacation Home!

We had such a wonderful time on vacation & this house was perfect for our family of 5! The beds were comfy, house was well kept, & right in the middle of town close to anything you need! Will definitely stay here again on our next vacation!

Quick Family Getaway

Chose Tampa for a quick family get away. Property extremely clean…Very quiet neighborhood. Close to airport, restaurants. Went to baseball training camp for Blue Jays (Dunedin) and Yankees. Great time!

Great Spot for Family

We enjoyed a family getaway for fall break. Nice location for exploring Zoo Tampa and the rest that Tampa has to offer. Nice distance from the beaches as well for a day trip. Place was clean and well-maintained. Appreciated having a stocked kitchen for making meals. No complaints.

Centrally located and well furnished

Jimmy was a great host -- very communicative and helpful. House was as listed, quirks with the water temperature was explained in the welcome information, and if we had any issues or concerns, we had a quick reply to our message. (The dining room lights didn't seem to work, but the two switches were just not flipped correctly.) We chose the location for going to Raymond James Stadium and it was easy to get there. Lots of good restaurants just minutes away as well. A bit of highway noise, but that was mainly a nuisance when it was a few loud drag racing type engine roars.

Nice Location for Getaway

We had no issues while staying here. The house was bigger than it appears and managers were attentive and nice. There is some road noise from the nearby highway, but nothing that bothered us. The location is convenient to Busch Gardens, Downtown and less than an hour from the Gulf beaches. We had a great visit.

Great Location

My stay in the Tampa Vrbo house was great. The house offered many amenities. The house was close to the city’s hot spots. The house was very comfortable for six people without crowding each other. My friends and I felt safe in the neighborhood. Mr. Lee was a gracious host. He was always available to answer any questions. I will definitely stay again when visiting Tampa.

My husband and 2 teenage dtrs stayed in Tampa for a wedding. House was very clean which is always my biggest criteria for picking a house. Quaint older home with hardwoods throughout. Layout of home was a little unusual with main living space in back of home and front of house with master bedroom and 1 of the 2 smaller bedrooms sharing a small detached bathroom. Laundry in attached garage is always a convenient amenity. Beds comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but appeared to be appropriately stocked with dishes and pans. Close to interstate but did not appreciate any road noise. Would book again. Thank you for use of your home.

Comfortable and convenient

Home was by everything you need, all stores and restaurants. Very convenient with all appliances and silverware. They have towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash in both bathrooms. Home is upgraded and very modern. They provide all cleaning supplies to clean after yourself. Wi-Fi included and every thing advertised is accurate. Lady who managed the property was very sweet and attentive to our needs. Only thing was there were a lot of big roaches probably due to the weather . recommend the stay to every one.

Overnight vrbo

We were a group of 6 for an overnight waiting to catch a cruise ship next day. We chose a vrbo instead of a hotel so we could be together the night before. Overall it wasn’t a bad place. The location was just ok. One of the bedrooms had a very bad mattress that the couple sleeping on it did not sleep well. The backyard was simple and only had 5 chairs to the outdoor set (we were 6 people). The shared shower our guests took cold showers as we learned only after we left that you had to turn it a certain way a couple of times before getting hot water. Maybe a sign should be out there to inform people before using the shower.

Not hot water for shower or bath. Had to purchase stopper to closeup bathtub and heat water for a hot bath. 🔥 Sofa in family room with dirty Stains. Lastly, someone entered about midnight looked around and left. We kept bedrooms doors locked to for safety. Note. Very helpful if contact with someone to help with solutions by phone. Thanks Nice place, location great. Feedback on those items please. Your place is ideal Again.

Great house, great location in Tampa.

This is a very nice house with lots of room and accessories. Very nicely decorated, the home was equally comfortable. We loved the convenience of the location as we spent time at the Florida Aquarium, Glazer Childrens Museum, and Busch Gardens. We also ate at a great restaurant, Ulele, in downtown. The only downside for us was that we had our 1-year-old grandbaby with us. This meant moving a lot of things out of harm's way and constantly being on guard due to steps inside the house. We didn't even use the beautiful backyard because of dangerous paving stones. Great home for a family if the kids are old enough to be in a bedroom away from the parents. Only other inconvenience was being so close to the freeway which was noisy at times.

Not as advertised

We had booked this place for 19 days while visiting family. The description states that they have cable/satellite, they do not, roku only. Talked to owner who wanted me to get an antenna. This would not have been a problem if we were staying for a couple of days. I informed the owner that I would be vacating the next day and requested a refund of unused portion. To date have not received reply or refund.

Perfect Property

The house was perfectly sized for 4 adults and two teens. The house has an amazing second living room in the back of the house which was perfect for us all to sit and watch the Super Bowl! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with the first living room wide open to the kitchen for great conversation. The king bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Very comfortable and restful. The second bedroom was well decorated and the bed was almost as good as the king. The third room was towards the back of the house and had a dedicated bathroom, which made for a convenient addition. The house was located close to everything and was in a quiet neighborhood. Previous reviews complained about a neighbor dog. I never heard a dog bark once. The highway was faint but could be heard. The house scored big with my family and was an awesome home base for our trip to Tampa. Thanks Jimmy for being so responsive and allowing us to stay in this beautiful house of yours!

Great location

I stayed here during spring break April 3-7 with 3 family members. Communication with Jimmy was very good before and during our stay. The house is in a great location, right next to the highway, so very easy to get anywhere. We had other family members there who rented another home about 10 minutes away so the location was perfect. The house was very clean and well kept. Everything we needed for our stay was available. The backyard was more appealing in the pictures but was nice and relaxing enough for us to spend some time back there. Overall, it was a great experience and stay. The only reason for the 4 stars is because on the last night of our stay, I was in the garage washing my clothes and a huge ginormous cockroach crawled from the top of the ceiling to the back of the washer and dryer. I immediately grabbed my things and shook everything in my suitcase and took it out to the car. Although I never saw anything in the house, I am now hoping that nothing crawled into my luggage and comes home with me. Because of that one thing I would not stay here again.
