Honestly a magical weekend. Rustic and relaxed, a perfect place to unplug. The hosts are lovely and found the perfect balance of being around if we needed something and leaving us to our own time and space. Looking forward to go back in another season to experience the beauty of this place through a different lens.
The stay was amazing, we were initially apprehensive about the lack of washroom in the cabin but the guest bathroom was fantastic and so close-by to the cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fire made the cabin nice and warm despite the subzero temperatures outside. The property has has spectacular views we only wish we could've stayed longer.
Tracey and Hernan are top notch people, and they offered us a lovely place to relax. An 80 acre farm where you can walk through well maintained trails to see their lovely horses and nature. The hosts are there if you need anything, always helpful, and cordial. The cabin its cozy and beautiful! It has an amazing and secluded deck area to relax, and play with their friendly cats. Its a beautiful well maintained place, and we loved there. Thank you Tracey and Hernan for your hospitality and your nice and thoughtful gifts. Silvia, and Peter St. Pierre

We will go back!
Thank you, Tracey and Hermann, for a marvellous post-Christmas relax-vacation! You've created a cozy cabin getaway on your gorgeous property and we enjoyed every minute we stayed at Le Temps Perdu. We appreciated the quiet for reading, drawing, playing games and napping; the long invigorating walks with our mutt (who discovered a real affection for horses); and the stimulating conversations with you both - our warm and generous hosts. We look forward to our next visit. For now, all the best in 2020! ~ Peter and Diane ... and Bella.
We loved our stay at this cottage. The property was beyond beautiful, with many trails to discover. We hiked to Foley Mountain with breath tracking views, as well as a canoe ride just down the street, which Hermann provides you the canoe for a rental fee.
Nothing bad to say, other than a private washroom would be preferred as we felt we had to be quiet while in there, and that the shower wasn't geared towards tall people, having showers as its a handheld shower hose with no curtain.
Hosts were beyond friendly and we would gladly go back in the future.

Stunning property
We enjoyed a 5 day 4 night stay in the guest cottage. Beautiful property with many trails to hike on the property as well as other wonderful scenic hikes nearby. We took advantage of the canoe rental where Hermann brought the canoe down to the lake and picked it up once we were finished for the day.
The cottage was cute and quaint but wishing we had a private washroom. We felt the need to be quiet as we could hear chatter from inside as the bathroom is an add on to their home (although a beautiful bathroom!). The shower was also an issue for us as although the tub is wonderful, the shower aspect not so much. Having a hand held shower hose and no curtain to contain the water, we felt uncomfortable bathing.
We loved the cottage and the woodsy feel it felt, the stairs leading up to the bedroom are quite steep, and could pose issue to people with knee issues.
Overall, hosts were great, property was great and we had a lovely time.
